"I too expect us to actually see... action. I am only half-good with lightsabre, the twinblade being difficult to master. But what have I spent the last weeks on in my spare time was space piloting, mindful of what was tested when we first arrived here. I have enough prior experience with guns to have kept me out of harm's way in the past."

She smiled.

"As for my connection with the Force... it gives me an edge in most tense situations."

Her comment about the twin-blade drew a small smile. "True, but it is worth the effort. I have been diligent in that regard." There was no need to elaborate on the Savant's path he had turned to...and they would have both seen how he had been asked to help with training the other students. Instead he nodded as she explained where her talents lay. "Good. With my physical and Baesal's technical skills we could accomplish many things working together. There will be many ruins to explore on Yavin. And the Massassi may not take too kindly to it."

Baesal kept silent pondering a question

''That is indeed a good match of abilities...As for Zash, I have a few ideas how to dispatch her but none of them will be easy.''

"New planet, new partnership. I like that, Jo'ren. You'll discover that I have a few other abilities that will make our joint exploits easier."

Moyr nodded, then turned to Baes.

"You seem to be on board too, dear. Float some of them so we can ponder them together."

Jo'ren nodded and gave them a small smile. "Good. I look forward to celebrating our mutual gains."

He switched his focus to Baesal. "Please, go ahead."

''Before dealing with her, we must deal with Zeno. He still seems to want to have us as allies and we can use that to our advantage.''

She stretched herself

''First: Zash is at her weakest when the ritual is on its way...overwhelming firepower, explosions...a coordinated assault all of them are possible avenues.''

''Second: Overload. The ritual is flawed to its core and the more she channels the more her body will fail...she is likely going to kill herself overtime, will try to maintain herself using the ritual...accelerating her own decay and getting reckless. If we could accelerate the process she could very well kill herself for us.''

"I think dealing with Zeno should be more nuanced. Sentimentality may be one of his fatal flaws. Cultivating it, we may be getting intel on Zash that would otherwise be hard to acquire. In fact both your ideas, Baes, may rely on such intel."

Moyr looked at Baes intently.

''It is possible...''

she raised an eyebrow facing the stare

''Errr, yes?''

"Sentimental huh?"

He wasn't really sure where they were going with the second part of their conversation. Moyr seemed to be implying that Baesal should be getting to work on gathering more information. It wasn't one of Jo'ren's primary skills so he just folded his arms and waited to see if there was anything further for him here this evening.

"Some lip service to the impression you're still his good pal is all I suggest, Baes."

Moyr looked back at Jo'ren.

"His weakness is our strength. You don't give your enemy an advance hint about their fatal flaws. You exploit them when it is time to do so."

She then smiled.

"Fully equipped for Yavin?"

"Took a trip to the market today to get the last few things I was looking for." He spread his hands wide. "Ready as I can be. Got to admit, I'm excited about not eating paste any more."

Even ship food was better than the crap they served here.

"Same, and same! Which reminds me, I'll pop up at your room later tonight, Baes. I need your advise and tools to tinker with my extended hilt a bit."

She affectionately stroked her double-bladed lighstabre holstered at her thigh. It was indeed longer now, allowing for a firmer hold.

''Ah, of course!'' she says with a nod to all questions, it seemed
