Hm, I'm tempted to pick up the TOR books. Haven't been before, but I'm curious if there's something I can use for Nar Shadda by any chance.

Since we're on the subject though: Would Nar Shaddaa and the next game after that have higher XP rewards for the players, as Abilities now become more expensive? Not sure how the XP-curve is on this game-system.

...though, I do wonder if we might end up with a few more exp from the eight month gap. Seems some of you definitely improved over the interim, taking out Sith Lords and politicking at the heights of power and whatnot.

I think 220 more XP was my magic number to have the Sylvain I hope for....

According to RAW XP awards should remain constant throughout a characters career. The most you would probably be spending on a single item is 30 points (out of career skill level 5) apart from those that have masses of specialisations in which case I can see them being justified as multi session purchases.

20 a session is a good figure. It's what I usually give out tabletop, with a bonus for end of adventures . . . which is exactly what Dapper Dog gave us here. My players still find 20 a session enough to feel like they are progressing even at 500+ Xp and all but one player on to their third spec.

Perhaps to cut down on spec costs, one could seek them out as some sort of reward for a mix of IC actions and an end game goal? Spend the game looking for an NPC that would be willing to teach a spec and then spend a goal to gain it post game? Since gaining the spec doesn't actually provide a mechanical boost. Just a thought. Would let a character pick up a spec per game if they wanted to focus on that for their character's development with potential story building behind it.

There is a mechanical benefit from picking up a new spec, although very small. The 4 skills attached to it become Career skills for you and thus cheaper.

Which is a pretty big deal, considering how expensive it is to increase skills.

Been busy most of the week, out of town on business will try and get all the loose ends finished up this weekend.

XP should be pretty constant, I don't see an increase in that curve or due to downtime, sure people did some significant things but a Sith Lord is not a player character, unlike say L5R where adversaries are on the same "scale" as players not all adversaries are on the same scale in this rules system, I think there may have been one or two Nemesis level adversaries in this game, the rest were Rivals, difficult challenges but not insurmountable.

I will look at epilogues this weekend.

Need to, want to, work on my Epilogue some more.

Also running down on the wire for DvL on SWTOR and trying to get what levels of that that I can.

Weekends are for sure the best time to get as much as possible done for many of the achievements. That's when most people are logged on to do Ops and Flashpoints.

I cannot stress enough that making one of your two main (the level 65's on Republic and Imperial side) a Tank is needed. You will get groups really quick as a Tank. If you want to do the Hard Mode Flashpoints, Ops, and World Bosses achievements - Tank is the way to go. Hubby and I rolled with a Tank each, me as Powertech BH on Imp-side, him as Jedi Shadow on Rep-side... so it was real easy for us to get a lot of the stuff done on weekends with one of us always in queue as a Tank.

Also, for the Valor-achievement, you only need to do like 2-3 PvP matches. I recommend doing them with a character that is not yet level 65 because then you won't need PvP Gear (or rather, you won't have people bitching at you for not having PvP Gear). If you pick up the PvP-missions when you first get to fleet, you can level several times quickly by just doing a couple of PvP Matches in a row, as well as get a nice amount of cash and some gear that's useful at low level.

Not sure I'll have the time to do the Max Level, I still need to finish KotFE on this character and I'm only on Corellia. Though I do have tanks rolled. Kri'stall is one and my current Jedi Knight is one. I'm not sure about the other tanks but I've got tanking on them down and it's always a good time.

I'm hopeful that the Warrior book, whenever it turns up, will have something like 'Juggernaut' or 'Marauder' as a spec. I doubt that warriors will get a spec with 2 x +1 force rating, but a spec with access to Reflect (or some other sort of defense against blasters) would be welcome.

Who else is missing a book? Mystic and Consular? Something featuring Sith sorcery would be fun. Although I guess that could be represented with a new force power.
