An individual with great willpower is going to do more then fight against his surroundings: he will try to understand and control it. He will study an enemy's weaknesses to exploit or find way to forge new weapons and armor, find new ways to get food, etc.

Cummulating such advantages will make it so that the individual will achieve success in his endeavors and will batter down what would seek to restrain him further, be it his own limitations or the yoke of others, granting him more opportunities to cumulate other advantages and use them to push ever further.

More then anything, the Force gives us the ability to trancend many aspect of reality
itself making it the way to break the final chains that would be impossible to break otherwise.''

A flawed view due to simplicity

Lord Savas chewed on those words and then made a groan. He tapped his cane and said, “I swear, Ophelia here knows more about the Force than you lot have displayed with all your posturing. That’s not a bad thing just concerning. I will have my work cut out for me trying to mold you lot into something resembling a Sith.”

“I have seen worse, mind you. I suppose that should give me some kind of satisfaction.”

He coughed loudly and added, “Why does any of you even want to be Sith? So help me, if you say it's your destiny I may have to demonstrate force lightning, directly.”

Jo'ren listened to the alien's explanation without any obvious sign of what he thought about it. Lord Savas' response might have been pre-planned, or maybe he really did think that they were all stupid. Whatever, he did at least have an answer to that next question.

"To master the force and destroy the Jedi. In time other paths will present themselves, but this is enough for the present moment. As a Sith I can learn without restrictions, exceed my potential, and have others do my bidding.". He shrugged. "Why choose to be limited when I can become Sith?"
