"Hm..." Shaisha considered it for a moment. "To be honest, that is a poor idea. If he's an agent of your House, he's no doubt too busy to take on apprentices."

"Besides, if Kris becomes Marr's apprentice, and you are now becoming Baras', I think it might be good to look for a third candidate who isn't aligned with either of those two. It might put the three of us at odds, but it could also allow us to work for the better of the Empire from different angles."

He nods. "That too is a wise path."

Then he bumped into her, "Can't fault me too much for wanting to keep you around though."

Shaisha chuckled. "Don't get too attached, Syl. The future can still take us to unexpected places."

"Or are you scared of Baras and want me to look after you?"

He chuckled, "It would be foolish to think I could take Baras on alone. But I guess I don't need you right beside me to be able to help me."

"An ally at a distance can sometimes be more useful than one nearby. Besides, it might be a good thing I've managed to keep a low profile so far as far as Baras is concerned."

She leaned against him. "How did the meeting with him go? Apart from you becoming his apprentice."

"Well enough. I threatened to give the intel to Marr, and tip the tide against him in their contest... He has agreed to make me his top apprentice. Though if I mention the intel again he threatened to kill both Kris and my mother." He said.

"Hm, I see," she thought it a bit odd that the threat didn't include her, but perhaps it was for the best that Baras seemed to overlook her? "Then we won't talk about it further."

"Any further problems with the Queen? Or has she left you alone?"

He snorted, "She's been disposed of... found a new person to hassle for now."

"And that was the end of your attempts to commune with the Force so directly?" she asked with a small laugh.

He chuckled, "At least while Korriban is upset. Maybe I'll listen again when she's behaving herself a bit more."

"I was thinking I should give it another try... it was painful the last time, but it gave me a vision. Who knows what could happen if I were to give it another try," she mused, clearly curious about the possibilities that could present themselves.

"I could attend you while you attempt if you want to." He said.

"If you would," she nodded to Sylvain. "You and Kris are the ones I trust the most around me if I'm going to repeat something like that again."

And now that I'm aware of one connection in the Force, maybe I can tap into that conduit...?

"I got your back. If you go into a trance... try not to remember how your clothes looked before you go in, I may... Nevermind." He said with a wink and a mischievous smile.

"Haha," Shaisha stuck her tongue out at Syl before taking up a more comfortable position.

She focused on trying to tap into her surroundings, but even more so trying to gain a glimpse into the connection to the Force she would have as a Child of the Emperor... if what Spindral had said was true.

There is darkness and then she sees students and Lord Savas and the ruins. He is saying something as if a warning but there is no sound. There is a scarred humanoid wielding two lightsabers one is red and the other yellow and cuts down the students with ease.

Then he stares into her eyes… and then there is nothing.

Shaisha seems to slip into a trance, as her eyes gaze out to the horizon, unfocused and blank.

Her form is perfectly still for a long time, and suddenly she gasp.

Leaning forward, shakes her head.

Putting a hand on her shoulder in case she fell over, Sylvain rushed to her side.

"You okay Shai?" He asked with a hint of concern.

"I'm fine," she said with a slightly raspy voice.

"Seems this little excursion might take a turn for the worse... not tonight, I think, but soon?"

"What do you mean?" He asked, "Did you see something?"

"Darkness. Then the students, Lord Savas, and the ruins. He seemed to be saying something, a warning, but there was no sound. Then, a scarred man, wielding a red and a yellow lightsaber, cutting down the students like they were nothing."

She looked at Sylvain.

"Then he looked into my eyes... and then there was nothing more."

Sylain nodded, "Visions can be tricky things... but I think it is best to be cautious while we are out here... Let's stick together tomorrow and get Kris."

If she'll be around me...

She nodded. "... Should I try to tell Lord Savas?"
