Sylvain laughed and shook his head in a manner which helped to lighten the mood, "Now that we've both got our barbs in, is it okay if we return to what we were doing?"

"I did prove myself right at the beginning. Perhaps you're forgetting but my orientation made Imperial news," he says with a chuckle. "While you continue to act a fool and become lesser in the eyes of the staff. When Overseer Thaine gave me a duty I saw it through and ended the rebellion. You had to be chided by her like a child for breaking rules. So keep yourself in check and scrub."

"No, I really don't remember. But everyone sure seems to remember the Emperor's Wrath praising my skills that day."

If only I could tell him I'm already a Darth's apprentice. I wonder if his face could get any redder.

"Apparently we aren't done." Sylvain said with a chuckle.

"You said it yourself Zeno, all you want is her to do what she is supposed to... and she is doing so. You've exchanged your insults and it's clear you hate eachother. Launching more words at each other more only makes you both look less capable and childish. True sith don't resolve their disputes with petty insults. If you truly have a problem with each other take it up later over there."

"Finish scrubbing. The quicker you do it, the quicker you can try to prove you're not just luck and hot air, wrapped in an angry, unfocused bubble," he says putting his swords away.

“You are all dead, all of you.”

“Now get to running, the perimeter of the training grounds until I get tired,” Jaina says as she approaches.

Zeno looks to Jaina and nods. Unlike others, he has respect for the staff. He doesn't even question it or roll his eyes, first to get moving.

Well whatever. Jaina was alright. She'd been training Layne in lightsaber combat after all. So off she went, running.

Matching pace with Remmington for a while, he looks to the other. "Up for an expedition with Lord Zash tomorrow? Gonna be exciting, I promise."

"Damn it you two..." Sylvain cursed as he started to run laps. He obviously wasn't great at it.

Moyr wouldn't do any stupid runs. She moved and... poof, like Houdini, she was gone.

"Oh hey Moyr. How you doing?" Remmington replies back just as casually as he works. He notes various lightsabers people have.

When Jaina assigns them laps he gets to it along with everyone else.

He has no problems running. Looking over to Zeno when he is addressed. "So you are going as well acolyte Deathwright? Do you know any details?"

Running laps. Athletics/Brawn. Force Enhance because why not. 2eA+1eP+1eF+3eD = 1 success, 1 Light Side

"Some. Mostly that we're going to the tomb of an old Sith Lord that knew a powerful ritual. We're going to dig it up and find out what he knew. It should be exciting," he says through intermittent breaths during the run.

Jaina watches and eats her paste quietly, she does not get tired and keep the students running for the next hour or so or until most are either puking, if they failed or getting a good burn.

OOC: Failed the roll, you are puking and still running and probably puking more. Threat is strain, and success you are winded but doing good and Triumph I guess you’re a champion running barely hitting your stride. Jaina is slightly impressed.

Sylvain was one of the puking ones and did not appreciate having to be put through this because of others. Glancing around he wondered where Moyr had gotten off to.

Layne kept going. And going. Oh look, past Zeno and Remmington she went. Again. Man, was this supposed to be hard?

"Best not," she said as she ran past Sylvain, "get any of that on your fancy shoes there, Torsin."

She pulled further ahead.

"It's not your color!"

Zeno keeps his pace fine and feels the burn. He's fine with it. Seeing Layne pass him doesn't bother him either. As she passes him he chuckles.

"Well," he breaths. "At least you can run from a fight," he breaths again. "You can't win."

2 strain

"Keep telling yourself that."

Zeno turned into a shrinking red man.

"Whoever you are!"

When she comes back around he chuckles again. "Your better," he says. "That's who."

There was no better insult to a man who thought himself a king, than to ignore him like he was nothing. Which is exactly what she did the 2nd time she passed him.

Besides, she had more important things on her mind. Like who the fuck Veers really was, and the threat she might pose. Or the opportunity.

As she goes by again. "Guess that shut you up."

A breath, "Recognizing your weakness, slave."

She ran and she panted and she hated

''Being a sore loser makes you look petty and weak, Zeno...get a grip on yourself''

"Sore loser? I didn't lose anything. She didn't accept the challenge," he says through breathing. "I imagine she'll do the same on battlefields against enemies of the empire."

Kristal, when she started behind the others was one that ended up right next to Sylvain at times. It was her shoulder, the wound through her chest. As it would seem she had forgone some much needed re-exercising of herself after that injury. Proper exercise that was. As it would seem being stabbed through the chest and surviving required a bit more work before you were in tip top shape again.

It burned at times, made her dizzy at others, and culminated in a few moments of bringing back up the paste practically the same way as it went down but Kristal didn't quite and she wasn't going to let it stop her. No matter how awful it felt to keep pushing herself.
