Actually It has also crossed my mind to change my character. Though I had a lot of fun with Rumun, orokos is making me consider the idea of changing him

If you wanted to do it, i'd be fine with that. He can stand up as an incidental so it wouldn't actually slow him down

Layne already said she doesn't see the need to duel someone who doesn't matter. 8-)

At this point she figures its more insulting to let him spin around trying to pick a fight with her.

Besides, there's nothing to gain for her! She's already got a reputation for being a badass. And she's already got an apprenticeship. Beating Zeno will do nothing for her. Which means it isn't worth the possible risk of losing. Layne's learning to be smartz in picking her battles.

He wouldn't look ridiculous, he'd land on his hands and flip forward back into running.

And her not answering to it just makes her look like a coward to him. Because she's too afraid to face him. Which is the rumor he'll spread
