The Dark Academy on Korriban

Sinea still held the image in her mind, the one that she wrenched from the Force, from Destiny. She rather liked being alive, and it seemed prudent to keep it that way.

And so she went looking for the Master of Arms. She trusted the former Jedi more than the non-Force Sensitive. So what, she was elitist. Nothing was new.

Jaina was observing students beating each other with their fists. She nods to the aspirant but otherwise says nothing.

"Master. I would like to discuss something with you. In private." Approached the aspirant Jaina slowly.

“This is as private as it gets, shoot,” she says.

Sinea looked at the practicing aspirants, and let out a sigh. "It's about the upcoming trip... to the jungle."

“What about it?” she says turning to the aspirant.

"The locals won't appreciate us. En masse. Captain Harad will look dashing in his last stand, at least according to what I saw through the Force." She said stoically. Now just to hope she believes me.

“What did your vision show you?” she says.

"A mass of red Massassi descending on us on a grey pyramid, we stand the ready to face them, but we were gravely outnumbered." She smiled an ugly smile. "The bloody aftertaste didn't bode well."

“Then you should train harder,” she says with a serious tone.

Sinea raised an eyebrow. "As you say Master. Any suggestions?"

“I would learn how to fight with a lightsaber or unarmed and hone your force talents, aspirant,” she says flatly.

Speaking of which, Jo'ren turned up and began training. He was still tired from the night before, but that wouldn't stop him. He seemed extra focused this evening since returning from the dig site.

His double blades whirled in the Shii-Cho style, though it was rare to see it with such a weapon.

"Thank you Master." Said Sinea dryly, before noticing Jo'ren. "I will do so then."

She moved closer to the Red Menace who was hopefully not hating her from their previous discussion. "Hello there."

The big red blur finished his form before looking at Sinea. "Taking me up on my advice Aspirant Okatesh?"

He smiled and nodded over at the training sabers. "No time like the present, right?"

Sinea's eyes wandered slowly over her giant counterpart. "Well, I did get some good advice about practicing my saber and Force skills... and I do hear you are a fair one with the lightsaber. Would you care to tutor me, by any chance?" Her smile was mischievous.

His eyes flicked over her small form. "Well, I can run through some drills and basic forms with you." He gestured respectfully to Jaina Von.

"But the Master of Arms decides who gets to be a tutor, so I defer to her judgement."

She glanced back at the ever so helpful Jarla Von.

"Hm, well... how about some sparring then? I wouldn't want to bother our dear teacher again."
