The Dark Academy on Korriban

Sylvain arrived still dressed nicely from the events of the afternoon and asked for a table in the corner near the music. After waiting a couple of minutes the table was prepared for him and he asked for a fine Kaas wine to be brought over when his guest arrived.

Sylvain had texted Kris, asking for another meeting. The two had nearly been inseparable for the past few weeks, but as of yet had not had a proper dinner together that didn't involve nutrient paste.

Sylvain sat at his table excitedly, knowing that tonight he would correct this oversight.

From the Dark Council earlier to talking with Shaisha prior Kristal had little time to change as well. Though her attire was little different than usual. Just a cleaner outfit than usual perhaps. As it would seem even Kristal had some weaknesses because she probably smiled like an idiot for the brief second after she saw Sylvain waiting for her. Something she locked down as quickly as possible. After all, this was still Korriban and she wasn't going to give anyone information she didn't want to let known. Like a weakness.

A very... very.. pleasing weakness.

For the past few weeks it was hectic, on top of the rigorous training they went through she had goals of her own to see to. However she didn't go long without seeing him at least once when she was able. After the trials they faced she needed it, needed to feel that warmth again. They were rather grueling and horrible bits of training

Moving over she stood at the table, looking to him and not quite offering a smile but he knew.

"It is good to see you, Torsin," she teased using his last name.

He smiled a charming smile as she approached, fortunately it was contextually appropriate for the resident heartthrob to be a bit more open with signs of interest in women.

"Good Evening, fair lady Serasai."

After playing formal for a moment there was a bit of a smile, but perhaps that wasn't where it came from. Finding her seat she looked across the way to him as she pieced together the current situation.

"You asked for me, and I am here," she stated looking for a bit more insight. "Not often we meet in the Cantina."

"I figured the fair lady Serasai would enjoy a real meal with a handsome young noble, rather than the slop served in the Mess Hall for once." He said with a smile.

"Was I improper to assume so?"

"No, no you were not," she said crossing her arms on her lap.

"Tough week," she said starting up something more. Though for her it was true that the last few days before these past few weeks had truly been the crucible. "It's nice to have a moment to relax after it all.."

He smiled coolly and poured the blue colored wine into a glass for he and Kristal.

"I've ordered the food already, they should bring it out as soon as it's ready. Hopefully it will seem like a bit of home despite it being... very much not home."

Warriors strength and Imperial respectability sat across from him, appraising the choice of wine as he poured it.

"It doesn't necessarily need to be like home," she admitted. Then a smirk as she teased, "Ordered already? Quite the risk Sylvain. Knowing well what I would like to eat?"

Though, of course, really absolutely anything could have been anything with the paste they've been stuck with for quite some time.

"Every time I've stepped out on a limb with you recently it's been rewarded." He said with smile, "Might have made me a bit more daring."

"I do not know if I should believe that a good or bad thing," she said with that light smile of hers. Wrapping her fingers around a glass in a rather sophisticated manner. Parties from their youth had taught her a few of the finer things, things she didn't have a counter for.

She chuckled, 'cool Kris' was as enchanting to him and it made him happy to see how well they had maintained their rapport even after adding new elements to their relationship.

"So how did your half of the Council meeting go? Marr steal your heart from me again?" He smiled and sipped his glass.

"Marr never held my heart," she corrected, giving him a look over her wine and hiding the smile for the implication there by taking a sip from her glass.

"He is however a man that inspires," she finishes as she sets down her glass. "Even though he was not there physically he commands such a presence in the room still. With strength able to call out the pointless bickering of the others."

“Darth Baras’ new pet and a traitor’s child, how quaint. My master should have had your family purged for their treachery,” Rona says slamming her hands down on the table.

“Maybe while you’re on Yavin I will finish the job the Wrath started and end your mother.”

Luckily, she had already set down her glass. Hopefully it was sturdy enough to not send her glass flying. With the mood thoroughly ruined by the true rabid dog of the academy. Kristal glared to the woman responsible for the last moment of simple peace she cut out for herself in a long time.

"Are you attempting to get a rise out of me?" she said turning to face the overseer. That Serasai steel showing itself.

“Such a useless priss,” she says to Kristal.

Sylvain smiled a practiced smile and replied, "Overseer, is there something we can assist you with? Perhaps I could buy you a drink?"

“That would be a good start,” she says to Sylvain.

“Best get used to tending to your betters, Darth Baras may pull the strings but I am first among his apprentices. Don’t think I am going to roll over for some upstart priss with political ties.”

Rolling her eyes Kristal saw back to her own glass. With just here and Sylvain she was taking it slow, enjoying the wine. Well, now the glass drained a bit quicker. With her left hand holding her cup, the right fell to her lap. Never believing one could be too careful. Or perhaps the idea of it just helped her work through some of the annoyance.

"We all serve the will of our master." He paused before adding, "and the Empire."

"I will be pleased to help in anyway that pleases Lord Baras."

"Even if he commands you to kill your girlfriend?" she says with a devious grin.

"You know that is coming."

"I've thought of the possibility, yes." He replied.

Then smiling, "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

Leave it to Sylvain to play it with a cool head. Another calmer sip of wine. Threats unto her person were much easier to deflect than the ones that touched upon her family. Thus the grip on the metal dangling from her belt lessened and she simply let her arm rest across her lap.

Rona glares at an another aspirant and takes their chair and sits down with the duo as a band starts to setup to play music. She says with a smile, “That time is coming Serasai, your family will not be long for this world.”

"You have quite the bark," She said turning in her seat to face the woman directly.

If Rona wanted a fight a Serasai was going to give it to her. Whether it be her or her mother. Rona would find herself more than outmatched. Of that Kristal was sure. Only a dog without a bite needed to bark so loud.

Sylvain put up his hand to stay Kristal. He knew she could get quite stubborn and such offensive language was sure to get a rise out of her. But composure was needed when insults started flying.

"The House Serasai has served the Empire faithfully for many generations. And though I am friends with Kristal, here, I know her to be of the highest quality of servant to the Empire. I'm sure she will be more than generous enough to accept your apology one day after she proves just how valuable a Serasai can be to the Empire."
