The Dark Academy on Korriban

Another nod.

She knew they could not go back to where things had been before. What had happened would forever affect all three of them, but she did think it possible to continue onward, and learn from it all.

"Together, then?"

Perhaps something different, maybe even stronger. It was impossible to know until they learned the only way they could.

"Together."

"I trust you haven't told Syl he's not actually the oldest anymore," she continued with a light-hearted smirk as they walked. "I don't think he's ego could handle that."

"I would never ruin your chance at making that reveal all it could be," She teased the idea of telling him in the light way she did.

"When did you learn of that yourself? You had always known? Remarkable ability of keeping that secret when we were younger. Not that it sprites me entirely."

"Hm? I always knew," she gave a shrug. "Well, kind of. It took me a while to realise how long it had actually been, but I knew what had happened. And that it was nescessary to keep secrets."

"Must have been a secret pleasure anytime he was smug about his age then," She teased.

"Why do you think I often have a smug smile around him?" she teased, that smug smile coming easily to her.

"Now it all makes sense," she teased with that smirk of her own. "Everything in fact... if I were locked away for possibly hundreds of years I too would likely be as adventurous as you always were."

"To be honest, I think I would've been that regardless," she chuckled warmly. "I was often encouraged to explore and test myself as a child. I was recognized to be force sensitive like my parents from a very early age, I guess they both considered it a natural thing to let me discover my own abilities and limits on my own."

"I know you would have been," she confirmed with confidence.

"Was it ever explained why you were woken when you were?"

Of course, last she heard of this Shaisha might have said something to that matter but well it was hard to remember every fact in a conversation three weeks later.

"..."

She looked to the side.

"... Not that I can remember. I often wonder about it all. Why I was put there in the first place, why I was awakened."

"Nothing to worry about then," she states, calming any concern that could be.

"Regardless of intent, you are here. You can always reach me."

It was just enough to bring something to light, something Kristal suspected. There was a reason, there had to be, and secrets like that were rarely good in Kristal's experience. If Shaisha needed anything, any help, Kristal had just offered herself to help face whatever it was.

"Likewise, Kris..." she smiled in return. She owed Kristal much more.

I will kill anyone who hurts you or Syl again. I'm not strong enough to do it now, but I will be patient.

Her emotions flared within her like a blazing inferno, and she reminded herself to temper her own steel with those feelings.

"Maybe I will ask him someday. Why all that happened. I suspect a lot of it was explained to me back then, but... a frightened child still shrugging off the effects of that long slumber, I don't think I had much chance of making sense of it all."

"There is a time for everything." Kristal had no eager desire to see Shaisha connected to a man who was so uncaring her could cut down another without proof or reasoning. At least, that was how Kristal saw it. That type of trust was blind and cruel.

"You are certainly correct in that. I would be surprised if you were to tell me you could remember any details of the moment you awoke."

"Hm..." she breathed deeply, and exhaled slowly as she tried to gather her thoughts.

"... I remember it was cold. How I felt numb all over. Not just physically, but in my mind and senses as well."

There were other things she could remember too. A pureblooded Sith, male. He spoke to her, but his words were muted out in her memory. Maybe they had been in real life too.

There was a low chuckle that came with that, "I didn't intend for you to try Shaisha, but I cam see how my words may have seemed as a challenge."

She smiled lightly. "Don't worry about it."

"So... did Marr say anything interesting to you?"

"Marr stepped in on behalf of my mother," she says casually enough. Though she avoided the next most natural sentence. Without Marr it seems she may very well would have lost all of her blood family.

"He must be serious about taking you on as his apprentice then," she said with a slight nod. Sure, it could be for different reasons, but Shaisha thought it had more to do with Kristal's possible future master.

Kristal couldn't really deny the possibility, especially given what else was said, but, "Perhaps. Certainly not a liability one would undertake without good reason."

"So did you get the chance to get a good read of the council, or were you too busy swooning over Darth Marr?" she asked with a teasing smile.

"I do not swoon," she said with a bit of a raise to her shoulder. Putting up a little show.

"More or less, nothing unique to any other that paid attention."

"Your opinion on the matter of Zash then?" she followed up the questioning. Shaisha didn't know how much Kris had learned about the particular situation.

"They weren't very illuminating," she admitted. "Is there more that you know of it?"

"I recall Syl saying something about her doing some sort of rituals that took the life energy of others...?" she shrugged. It sounded rather crazy, but that session had been a little crazy too.

"Council made it's decision though."
