After the ordeal with Overseer Thaine, Remmington has to rely on someone else in order to secure a speeder.

Stepping with her mid-calf boots onto the platform of the space port, Niriti approached Remmy from behind pulling her fingers into his hair softly as she reached him. "Good morning, bringer of light."

Remmington turns his head to smile at Niriti as she runs her fingers through his hair. "Good morning beautiful."

He puts an arm around her a gives her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks again. I am going to need your way with words to get a good deal on this."

He gestures with his hand at the ancient sword he is carrying on his back.

"Oh, such piece." She looks at the sword intrigued, and then decides that it must have come from the ruins from the day before. "Well first we need a speeder."

Niriti came close to the man in charge and asked for a 2 person speeder. "I don't drive, so I brought my attendant" she winked towards Remmington "to drive me on one of those two person speeders."

/Reputation 5, so shouldn't give any trouble.

"Yes madam." Remmington replies as he goes along with the act. He walks over to open the door for his lady. "Shall we head off then?"

Niriti sat on the speeder and allowed Remmy to drive them away to wherever he had thought of going. "Yes, let's go."

After a short drive they arrive at the space port. Parking the speeder they head into the market area.

"Alright, let's get a good trade in for this sword and buy some more saber parts." Remmington says as he looks around for a merchant.

OOC: They will offer 130 credits for the sword and roll o go scavenging is Streetwise at Average difficulty with a setback due to all the scavenging.

Looking over to Niriti he smiles confidently. "I am sure you can work out a better arrangement honey. I'll leave that to you. I'm going to check over there for anything of use."

Remmington leaves the sword with Niriti to do some negotiating with while he walks just down a few stalls to search through some junked scrap. He finds nothing worth while and gets a small cut on his hand for the trouble.

He heads back to Niriti and the merchant. "Oh yeah, I also want to pick up a pair of scanner goggles."

Niriti spend a while with the salesman, back and forth trying to get a better deal for the sword, but they could not reach an agreement on a better price for the sword. It appeared as the salesman had already many on his hands and would not spend more money on the item. Nonetheless, the human was able to reach an excellent pair of googles out of the set that the man had selling.

/OOC. Maybe no discount but a better pair of Scanner googles with an extra ability, reach or whatever? Since the Triumph is still active, but no success?

OOC: That works for me, they give a Boost die to Perception or Vigilance rolls when worn.

It is a little disappointing that he cannot get more for the sword but there are no real complaints there as it is something he picked up. The scanner goggles however are a find. He looks over them excitedly. "Wow, these are great. Good eye there Niriti." Remmington says with some excitement over the purchase.

"We've got a good deal, so we shouldn't push our limits here..." Niriti turned her way, grabbing Remmy from his waist. The sales wasn't her best, but at least she had achieved a good bargain with the scanner. It would become useful in the days to come.

Remmington puts his arm around her waist as well. "Thanks again babe for all your help. I don't know what I would do without you." He directs a warm and sincere smile at her.

"So what have you been up to lately?" He asks.
