"Then I would say that Khalim Tsaikzu is dependable. He values the traditions and honor of the Sith, a rarity amongst some of our fellow students. If you need his help, I think it would count for something to say you are my brother. Kind of. Technically... in a way."

She shook her head.

"I've never been to Yavin, as far as I know, so I can't really tell you what to prepare for. Someone told me they had a vision of a huge fight taking place there, but that was something I was kind of expecting anyway."

"What kind of fight?" He asked with interest.

"Described as a last stand."

Shaisha shrugged. "Better sharpen up your lightsaber skills."

Sylvain nodded, "As if I hadn't been already..."

He smiled then, "New locale for adventure though... should be fun."

"I wonder if the jungles of Yavin is anything like those on Dromund Kaas," she mused. "Though I think I would've preferred to go to Ziost... such a shame. I kind of miss it sometimes."

"I've only ever been for parties and the like; what do remember of Ziost before you came to live with us?" He asked with interest.

"Simple things. Like the cold, the snow, the ice... how pretty it all was. I wasn't exactly walking off into the wild areas there on my own at that age. But I remember I was outdoors often; either for training, or playing around."

"Throwing snowballs with no hands can be fun," she added with a chuckle.

"With no hands?" He asked.

"Using the Force, silly," she laughed, and stuck her tongue out at Sylvain.

"Unlike you, my parents knew I was Force sensitive like them when I was still an infant."

He chuckled, "That is quite different indeed."

He sat back, "You miss those days at all? Or are they just too far away now?"

She contemplated her answer for a moment.

"They're far away... I miss what could've been, and I probably would've given up much to have had that life instead. Not sure if I would've given up you or Kris for it though."

"I would hope that we're better than floating snowballs on Ziost." He said with a teasing voice.

Then a bit more serious, "You had to give up a lot to come live with us, so the least I could do is try to keep paying you back for as long as I'm able."

I didn't have to give up anything. I had nothing.

"How is your mother?" she moved the conversation after some silence.

"Well enough. Baras had apparently been responsible for her illness. That issue appears to have resolved itself."

"Did he admit it?" she asked, curious as to how Sylvain had figured that out.

He nodded, "In not so many words. Also promised to kill her if things go poorly between he and I."

"... Right..." she grumbled, placing her hands on her hips. "You know, you, Kris and I need to get together on Yavin. I think there will be less people listening and watching then."

He nodded, "That sounds like a great idea. Planning on going shopping tomorrow in preparation. You wanna come?"

"Maybe not a bad idea," hard to tell if she meant shopping or meeting up.

"Give me a call in the morning then?"

He smiled and patted her on the back, "Will do."

She nodded.

"So, what's your plans for the day then. Other than attending the Dark Council meeting?"

He thought for a moment, "I've got to run a couple people down, and then I have dinner with Kris in the evening."

"Run a couple of people down? Sounds brutal," she chuckled. "Didn't think you'd have that in you."

"Nor asking Kris out on a date. Did she punch you afterwards?"

He chuckled, "Not that 'run down'."

Then smiled at the second thing, "No punching yet... Definitely other physical contact though."

He chuckled again.

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"... What did you do to poor Kris? You used some sort of mind-trick on her, didn't you?"
