She pursed her lips slightly as she gave him a skeptical look.

"So she's your girlfriend now, hm? Kristal and Sylvain sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g?" she began in a sing-song tone.

He chuckled, "I'm fine with that distinction. I get to be associated with a beautiful girl like Kris. I don't know I'd sing that around her though... unless you like 'ghost wake-up' punches."

"You're assuming I'd say it within arm's reach of her," she chuckled.

"I'm sure your mother would approve of you two getting together, though. Uniting two powerful houses and all."

"Not sure now... with the state of House Serasai." He replied.

"But we'll see... I'm not one to take stuff lying down too easily. Even if it takes a while for me to get what I want... I end up satisfied most of the time." He smiled.
