The Dark Academy on Korriban

Sylvain arrived at the office of Baras again on this day. Letting his aide know he was here, he waited to be allowed access into Baras' presence.

The aide keeps him waiting for about fifteen minutes and then finally allows Sylvain in. Baras is pacing with a holographic image of Darth Vengean.

Baras says, “Apprentice, I did not send for you.”

Sylvain bowed deeply to Baras' and Vengean's apparition.

"I had some information that came to my attention that required your handling my master."

He paused and looked down, bowing with deference, "I can continue to wait until you have time to speak if you so desire."

"Speak," Vengean says.

He pulled out his datapad and accessed the files that he had received from Thy. Handing them over to Baras he replied.

"I came across an undiscovered Republic outpost in the Deep Wastes. It's databases were being protected by a maddened Jedi, but she is of no consequence. After I dispatched of the Jedi, I was able to access the bases' information systems. Unfortunately much of the data was decayed and it took some time to repair it."

He pointed to a file, "What Master Baras is holding is a record of Republic hyperspace jump locations in this sector and others near the core of the Republic. Cross referencing them against our own, I found several paths that were yet unknown to us... including one that leaves from this sector and arrives at Coruscant."

Vengean says, “I am pleased. Is there anything else?”

"Nothing that would necessitate disturbing you anymore. I'm glad I could be of service."

He bowed, collected the datapad, and said, "I'll see that your assistant downloads the intel."

He then left unless stopped.

"Then leave us," Vengean commands.

He does so promptly.
