He smiled, "I plan to keep my connections with you and Kristal if at all possible."

"We'll have to see how that goes. A lot can still happen before we officially become apprentices to our respective masters..." she tuned out for a bit, as the opera in her headphones turned to its main aria, and the volume was turned up enough for Sylvain to hear it too.

She lay back on her bunk out of sight of Sylvain as she let the music fill the silence of their space.

Regardless of the indications there were Shaisha was listening to the music playing. The door opened and Kristal walked in, looked to the relative silent room, and simply stated, "If there is one thing I hate most, it is traveling with this large a group of people."

Sylvain chuckled, "I doubt Kris will leave this room much over the next three days. You'll have to find something for us to do Shai... or Kris will end up bulking up a ridiculous amount with all the push-ups she's sure to do to avoid all these people."

Shaisha chuckled and sat up in her bunk, letting her bare feet dangle freely over the edge.

"We're all together again then," she smiled and took off her headphones. "Getting closer to the end of our training as aspirants now. Ready for the final lap?"

With a glance, smirk, and shake of the head toward Sylvain. Kristal made her way more properly into the room as she listened to Shai. Leaning back until she took the bottom bunk on the opposite side of the room. Looking up, "I could not be more ready."

He smiled, "With you two nearby?"

He paused for dramatic effect, "Of course I'm ready."

"And ready to begin the step towards revenge?" she followed up.

"If it is manageable," she says prudently. There was a worry that this was exactly how it happened, every time.

"The first of many steps..." Sylvain suggested. "No need to rush into something with reckless abandon. Methodical and gradual approaches have their own utility."

He smiled at both them, trying to occupy the middle ground on what they were getting at. And hopefully doing it in a way that both felt their concerns were accepted.

"We're each going our separate ways, but Syl will be the one closest to the biggest threat. What I want to suggest is that we must give him the impression that the events surrounding your fathers have driven a wedge between us. At least, I think, it might be for the better if someone like him believes that we are no longer close allies... make us seem less like a threat, and more like whatever they did is working."

Sylvain thought about that for a few seconds, "What type of optics are we speaking about? How do we make that believable?"

"Make our enemies believe they have won," she smirked. "A brilliant strategy, if it can be pulled off yet. We may very well have endangered such a plan already. Whatever display we would have to make to correct that would have to be inspired."

Sylvain began working on a plan in his head. But all of the different strategies he could think of were unacceptable... for they all meant that he could not do as he wished.

Glancing over at Kristal he looked into her eyes for just a moment.

How do I keep her near me....

"Doesn't hurt to start when we arrive on Yavin. It would seem so far Kris and I have settled our differences, but things can change in the span of three days stuffed into this can together." She nodded to Kris. "And with you two getting along so well, it's not inconcievable that I be the third wheel that feels shunted off to the side."

"It would need to be large, a display. If it is quiet there will be whispers and rumors, or worse no one will care."

Kristal had leaned forward, forearms on her knees. Treating this not unlike a proper operation.

Sylvain nodded, "Perhaps while still on the ship... while things are a bit more condensed and ears closer together."

He offered, "Change rooms after some type of altercation tomorrow or the next day?"

"That could work," Shaisha nodded. "Me and Kris would be believable too. 'Your father killed my father in cold blood', or something."

"It would naturally need to be more than a mere shouting match."

Kristal wasn't sure if she should think that it was lucky, or unlucky how little she would actually have to act in a display like that.

Sylvain chuckled, "This is going to end up with me getting punched again isn't it... or maybe this time we need a cut to make it look more believable."

"I trust Kris more than anyone for a proper fight," she knew Kris was ready to move on, but like any true Sith, she also suspected there was still a lot of rage for her to draw upon there.

"If we are to be showing our separation, then in the Mess hall would be best. Toss up to a few tables, get a few solid hits in and the staff will respond quickly enough before any true damage is done," she laid out her part of the plan methodically.

"Unless we are aiming to show something between us as well, you won't have to worry about me having to punch you again Syl," she said with a light smile as she looked to him.

He chuckled, "Unless I get caught in the crossfire trying to break you two up... which would be the thing people would expect me to do."

"I'm not beyond making sacrifices for the theatre of it all."

"I'm more than prepared to accept the hurt this might inflict upon us, physically." Though she was a little relieved to see that Kris and Syl both seem to be in agreement with her plan.

"However, there is also the aftermath; we need to find out how to keep eachother in the loop on things without being bugged."

"Sylvain," she started first needing to correct something, "it would be best if you are not there. Delayed perhaps. With your tendency to calm conflict it would be more believable if it were only Shaisha and I."

Kristal waited for a nod, something quick to show understanding there and then back to Shaisha.

"On Yavin it should not be too difficult, wander off and meet somewhere. I will be able to find you. However, that would require time. Unless we know someone with mechanical expertise that can link our commlinks directly. Create a secure link."

The last was said without the confidence she usually held, not quite sure if that was really possible with their commlinks.
