The Dark Academy on Korriban

"There is my family cipher..." He thought.

"I agree with Kris. You shouldn't be there."

As Syl suggested the family-cipher, she frowned. "No. I don't trust it. I suspect Baras already has fingers on that line."

"If Shaisha was discovered using it, the plan would fall apart right there," she added.

He nodded to Shaisha's remark, "It may be possible... I still need to decipher the nature of my father's man..."

Then asked, "Do you have any suggestions then?"

"If Yavin is anything like Korriban, there might be free-traders there selling various stuff. We could pick up some new communicators, maybe?" she suggested, not really a tech-person.

He nodded. "That could work maybe, to some degree at least."

"Unaltered communicators can still be tapped into," she said, although she wasn't sure. Kristal had made a long standing habit of not sounding unsure of herself, even when she was.

"Some of them could probably be hired to fix it, for the right price?" she suggested.

He nodded, "You're miss money bags right now right?"

"A girl has expenses," she stuck out her tongue. "There's some stuff I'd love to get my hands on, but this might very well take precedence."

"We would need someone willing to subvert Imperial authority... for Imperial authority," she phrased specifically to outline the issues they would likely face there.

Then, a raised brow, as she looked between Shaisha and Sylvain, "Miss Moneybags?"

"I've got a bit from the council yesterday." He smiled.

"I'm no moocher."

Then addressed Kristal's concern. "We need to find someone outside of immediate Imperial control probably... And Shaisha collected quite a bit of money on the bounty for the creature she slayed."

"Hence why a free-trader, or a Mandalorian possibly, would be the best shot... still, it can also wait until we're done with our trials on Yavin. We might be able to find plenty of spaces there that make for good meeting points, away from prying eyes and ears."

She considered the possibilities of some of the other students, but the fewer who had a reason to suspect anything, the better.

"Meh, the bounty should've been bigger for something that size and effort."

"Ah, you were with the group who actually slayed Death's Shadow. It can, unless we find a specialist we can trust. One who works on that sort of thing. That we are Sith, or will be, is reason enough for anyone we might ask, they won't suspect the larger plan."

At least, that was Kristal's take on it.

"I couldn't find any jedi when I felt like doing something suicidal, so I settled for the next best thing," she teased Kristal with a playful smile.

"But yeah, you're right. Some fools probably won't even know we're aspirants either. Lightsabers, authorative; usually enough to make a lot of people assume Sith."

"In my defense, I was only there to keep Sylvain alive," she responded with a smirk.

He chuckled, "Easy to say after the fact... I saw the excitement in your eyes when I told you I found something."

"That was before I knew there would be a maddened Jedi there," she teased.

"If I say 'undiscovered Republic outpost' and you don't immediately imagine Jedi defender, that's not my fault." He said with a laugh.

"I dunno, first thing in my mind would be treasure. And possibly corpses." Shaisha shrugged.

He shook his head and said teasingly, "That's you gals' problem. Not enough imagination."

Kristal raised both brows and looked indicated Shaisha as she looked to Sylvain, "Mine was sentry droids still active, at most."

"Is that how we shall explain some of your conclusions from now on Sylvain?" she teased.

He smiled and puffed up his chest and set his hand on it, "I'm used to being teased for my genius by you two. It's the price one like me has to pay when dealing with lesser folk."

He was obviously being facetious, but as always that wouldn't exempt him from getting beat down by the other two.

Shaisha narrowed her eyes at him. Then looked at Kristal.

"Sylvain Torsin, found floating in outer space without a spacesuit. Investigators mystified."

Kristal, looking back.

"Long standing rumors of Sylvain Torsin being an contortionist proven true, as his foot was found shoved firmly into his mouth."
