The Dark Academy on Korriban

"Alright, we're coming out." she replies and nods to Khalim. "As much of a traditional burial as we can manage."

The bigger of the two Sith lifts the larger of the two corpses, while Shaisha carefully lifts up and carries the child in her arms.

The two hurry as much as they are able and place the two corpses down beside eachother in the hole, face-down.

When they are placed, Zeno plants the tall piece of scrap at the head of the site and starts filling it in. Much easier with the storm doing some of the work.

When finished he pulls out his shoto and scorches the marker with:

"Fearsome Pirate, Loving Father, Beloved Child"

As the sands of Korriban cover their bodies, Shaisha stands still to give the departed a moment of silence. In some places, there might have been a song, or words recited, but here anything would be drowned out by the storm. The silent wake was as much as they could do.

After two minutes, she heads back in for cover.

Zeno on the other hand did offer a few words, and feelings with his mind. "Fight well, defeat your enemies and protect your child fierce warrior."

It would not be heard by the others over the sand but he hoped that the spirit might accept them.

Eventually he returned to the ship as well. He stands in the doorway for a moment looking out at the gravestone.

In the safety of the ship, Shaisha quietly hums a solemn tune she herself didn't remember the words to, but the melody she recalled from her childhood.

It is brief, followed by a long moment of silence.

"... What now?" she asks eventually, her voice kept to a low tone.

"Back to the bridge, see if anything is different..." he starts walking.

"Less haunted, one hopes... poor souls," Shaisha murmurs and follows Zeno's lead.

Eventually he reaches the bridge once more. And he is damned tired. So he takes a seat in the captain's chair.

While Zeno seats himself in the chair, Shaisha walks up to the panel that had glowed when Zeno had cared for the child. Perhaps it was active again?

"That storm was a bitch," he says after pulling off his helmet.

"I mean, a real bitch. I'm glad we got that transport. A speeder would have sucked. That might have been hard for me to pilot through. But then, you did beat me in that race so you may have been fine." He turns back to grin at her.

"Ha ha," she replies dryly and continues looking around over the panels and controls.

The spirit did something earlier... It opened the doors for us, after all.

As Zeno sits in the captains chair he leans back closes his eyes and opens his mind. He wonders if maybe there might be emptiness or peace rather than sadness and despair.

Sinea was silent, and simply observed the others, helping where she could. Ghosts... strange. Korriban makes the weird weirder, apparently.

Once again, she closed her eyes and opened them again.

The Force was still interfering it seems, but she didn't care, and plowed through it, bathing in the light.

[Spending Destiny and gaining Conflict]

"What are you getting, Sinea?" Zeno asks the seeress.

Sinea can see the powerful storm coming and their ship crashing if they wait too long. The area seems at peace now, less restless without the doom and sadness. She taps into the light and can feel her self drawn to a specific place on the floor of the bridge.

"We need to hurry, but there is one more place..." She led them to the specific floor, following the lead.

"What are we looking for?" she asks, following Sinea's lead.

Zeno follows along. "Damn storm."

With Sinea’s guidance they find a panel and underneath is a sealed case about a meter cubed and weighing perhaps seventy kilos. It takes work to get it out of the hole but is sealed up with a security that has since become fused with age.

They can hear the winds outside picking up.

OOC: A lightsaber will open it easily but may damage the contents inside, Skullduggery at Average with a setback would work too.

Zeno goes about helping Shaisha get it open, trying not to damage the goods.

The sounds of the storm isn't lost on her, but unwilling to take the chance that something of value could be damaged, she sets to work with prying the panel open.

With Zeno's help, it seems to be a success.

Inside they find a treasure trove of items, aurum bars worth 3700 credits and treasures worth another 4000 credits, 2 Ilum quality crystals, one is light blue and the other is purple.

"Holy shit," Zeno says as the panel comes up.

"Well... that's worth my time here. Want to pack up and get here before the Force decides we've had enough good fortune?" Asked the Sith seer with a cat's smile.
