The Dark Academy on Korriban

The form of the sorceress formed from the void, like rising from night-time waters rather than coming into the light. In this black, endless deep, there was no up or down, yet she hovered above him and he on his back. The welling ichor of her eyes and mouth dripped over his face and down his cheeks. As the scion spoke, her lips curled and a hideous mocking sound ripped through his mind. Like laughter and the sound of yapping hounds.

"You are zhe Sith," her hair fanned out behind her like she were drowning. "You Sith beliewe in claiming powver for yourself. If you vant powver, zhen do not be distracted by your own fantasies und claim it. Vhat are you afraid of?"

Sylvain looked up at Jun-tsu and smiled, "I fear nothing."

He then took her in his arms and kissed her passionately. The ichor from her eyes and the void surrounding them enveloped the two of them as they sunk deeper into the abyss.

He could feel the fluid seep into his mouth. He choked on the burning fluid as it threatened to drown him. As he held her, he could feel her skin grow cold, then satiny, then wet, then watery as the blackness washed over him. Her hand was at his throat as she coalesced behind him.

"You vear eweryzhing!" She growled.

"You vear your own vuture. You are vloating in zhe woid. You're drowning, und you vill die. Find zhe path....Find your path! Valk zhe path!"

As she choked him with her hand, felt the ichor begin to fill his lungs, and realized the world around him was not his to command, an overwhelming feeling of terror shot through his body. Was this to be his end? Was it to be the end of his friendships? He was so terribly weak... His sentimentality and concerns for others were holding him back. Jun-tsu threatened to end his very existence and he hadn't moved a finger. What a terrible fool.

He felt the inner hatred course through his body again. His fear and self-loathing formed a tangible power in his breast. It gave him focus, it gave him strength. He expelled that hatred and fear out in a mental projectile directed at Jun-tsu.

Knocking her off of him and onto her back, he cast aside the illusions of ichor and the abyss that consumed them. With a wave of his hand he ripped her robes from her body. She sat there, laying before him on her bed completely naked beside her headdress.

"You will follow my command!" He yelled as he continued his assault on her mind.

Her eyes lolled in their sockets, very clearly still in the thrall of the concoction. She closed them and threw her head to the side. The body beneath him moved in serpentine motions. Her fists clenched at the sheets and blankets.

"Vhy should I?" Even out of the dream, Jun-Tsu channeled the voice of Shaisha and Kristal in her trance. She laughed drunkenly, more from her chest than from her lips. It was like the sound emanated from within her rather than out of her.

Shaisha lay naked before him, like she had weeks ago when she urged him to give into his passions, to go with the moment, to not care about right or wrong.

"Is this all you are?" her hands traced down her slender form, her face caught between expressions of ecstasy and mockery. "A boy easily distracted by the flesh... You could make me yours, and I would be on my knees, obeying your every word."

"Instead," she laughed and sneered at the same time, "it's I who control you. You'll never break free. My poison is already in you. Like it was in your father, and your mother."

He smiled at the final attempt of Jun-tsu's mind to cast doubt on his actions. But he was beyond her petty insults now, nothing would stand between him and his ultimate victory. Not Shaisha, not Baras, not Jun-tsu, and not even Kristal.

He stood above the real Jun-tsu as she lay naked on her bed, driving terror deep into her soul, "For if you do not obey me, you will be destroyed."

He moved his hands to the fastenings on his robes, "Submit, and you will find greater power and fulfillment than you ever dreamed. Nothing will hold you back. Not those above you, not those who abuse your talents in your own family, and most importantly... you will not hold yourself back; you will not rely only on the past, but you will utilize it to create a better future. You will be fierce and dominate those of weaker will. Your house will shake off the chains that beset her... and you will rise victorious over all who dare belittle your name."

He cast aside his own robes, "Together we will forge a new future. Or you will die, now."

Her eyes snap into focus and she stared up at Sylvain with a smirk.

"Let go," she repeated from the trance and her hands relaxed from the bedding and raised to his sides.


As the terror of the Dark Side drove into her mind, it only set her heart to racing. She had faced the horrors and truths of the Dark-light and welcomed it into her. Now Sylvain had become a part of that. "No barriers. No boundaries."

A soft hand drew to his back and pulled him down towards her, "Share vith me your vision of zhe future."

Sylvain smiled, victorious. He lowered himself down, their bodies mixing in a perfect combination of hatred, fear, and perfect vision.

"Good girl." He said with a smile as he readied to show her exactly what the future held.

Jun-Tsu lay there quietly staring at her ceiling light. Her mind casually passed over the experience and the visions she had had. Whatever Sylvain had experience it was most certainly intense, at least if what happened after was any indication. She let her nails run lightly up and down his arm as she lost herself in reverie.

Visions of House Farro amidst their ceremony, blazing with wild abandon. The ritual fires mingling with the Dark-light of the Force. And at its center that black orb. Did it laugh? Was it mocking? She tried to parse the omens, whether good or ill. But each time she thought back she was left more uncertain than before.

Sylvain's arm was wrapped tightly around Jun-tsu's shoulder as he too stared up at the ceiling. He had been more of an animal than he had ever remembered being. The carnal nature of their coupling served as the passionate validation of his decision to abandon his fear and doubt.

He smiled carnally as he reached down with his extended arm, to cup her breast from underneath his back. "Quite demanding indeed fair lady Farro..."

"Hmm?" She said before her mind caught up. "Oh, yes."

He smiled, "And you unlocked all of mine... And received all of it on that little frame of yours."

He leaned over and gently kissed her lips. "I think this is the beginning of a wonderful working relationship."

She almost laughed but stifled it to a soft chortle in her throat, "I've dealt vith vorse, but if you're truly to impress House Farro enough to learn zomezhing of our vays ve need to nurture zhat beast vithin you. Korriz iz not like zhe core. Ve are ciwil...in our own vay, but ve are in touch vith the Dark-light az it shines down upon our planet. It iz primal, it iz predatory, it iz des [death] zhat becomes life und life zhat becomes des."

"I am excited about learning more... I felt I had a great deal of clarity in my visions." He smiled.

"Were you there with me the whole time, or were you doing your own thing?"

"Zhen, I vas vith you in zhe thrallz of passion. I avakened from mein trance to find ve vere both in zuch a state. Not zhe first time it haz happened to me during a trance."

He smiled, "Definitely not the worst way to wake up from such a trance."

He then asked with interest, "What was it you saw then?"

"I zaw many zhings. Chaotic visions of zhe past, or perhaps just hallucinations of channeling zo much powver of zhe Dark Side. It haz been known to happen. I zaw Korriz, und Korriban. I saw mein ancestors und my future. I zaw the rise and fall and rise and fall of mein house for a zhousand years before und a zhousand years to come. I zaw the ritual of mein family, und zhe powver zhat ve may seize, but I know not vether it vas a varning or a sign."

She looked up to the ceiling, "It iz up to me to decide."

He nodded, "So my demands made sense even if what we saw was very different...."

He smiled, "Interesting ritual Jun-tsu. Color me impressed."

She looked bemused, but said nothing, "V'one of zhe old vays. In truth, zhe Lords of mein family rarely partake in zuch rituals. Azide from knowing more powverful v'ones, zhe živá voda is more of a, vell there is no real good eqviwalent. I zuppose you might call it a game. A ritual for zhe young. Zomezhing to thrill zhe zenses, inflame zhe passions, und open v'onezelf to zhe Dark-light. Vairly benign und....fun."


"Recreational, I zuppose you could zay."

He chuckled, "Started me off easy did you? If that was recreation, you must have some pretty spectacular rituals."

"It vould depend on vhat you how to accomplish. Vith zhe visdom of our Lords ve can affect change throughout zhe galaxy vithout ewer leaving Korriz if zhe mood strikes zhem. Zhey can peer zo deeply into zhe future zhat zhey can plot a hundred years ahead. Zhey are az close as I humanly possible to be v'one vith zhe Dark-light vithout surrendering your corporeal form. Und ewen zhen, zhey are possessing of powvers of zheir own zhat can allow zuch dissolution for a time."

She smirked, "It vas ewen zaid zhat v'one of our number, half a millennia ago v'once knew zhe zecret of traveling across zhe galaxy in zhe blink of an eye. Und ve have ritualz zhat can allow us, joined together to zend v'one of our number across zhe planet und to our moons in seconds."

"An interesting ability... what lies on your moons that one would want to travel there?" He asked.

"Ve have a pair of habitable moons zhat host unique ecosystems und beasts zhat ve use for ritual hunts, or raw materials for our vork. Plus, zhere are villages zhere, and vhile ve may be dewoted to zhe Umbră-Ușoară, ve are also rulers of zhe Korriz system."

"I will have to come and visit some time. Spend some more recreation time with you. And learn more of how we can accomplish what we promised." He said with a smile and a squeeze of her breast.
