So I've been poking about The Old Republic once more.

What servers are you all on? Would you like to hang out?

Me + Kristal are on The Shadowlands levelling new empire characters, I believe somebody else was on there as well.

Long day, bleh.

Me and Grenda are on Red Eclipse, though we're never on at the same time.

Wampa butt-holes? That means Hoth....

Many a character of mine was put off for weeks because of Hoth....

It's where my excitement goes to die.

I'd give SWTOR a try, but I'm pretty sure my laptop (which is more of a tablet really....) can't run it.

That plus Overwatch Halloween on PS4!!!!!!

It is not Trump. It is legitimately offensive. I have gotten incredulous and dumbfounded looks from people at work and some have asked me very clearly to not do it.

I thought I could deal with Hoth after Tattooine.

I was wrong. Very, very wrong.

I actually didn't dislike Hoth *that* much. Some parts of it (the glacial fissure area) I really disliked, but overall, it was fine.

Corellia is one of the planets I absolutely HATE to drive around on. "Oh, you want to drive here, and the may says there should be a way here? lolz, blocked by ruins and debris!"

Of my favorite planets... I really adore Voss and Alderaan.

In other news, I twisted my ankle yesterday (wearing sneakers, on flat even surface, in a sober state...). Doctor thinks I probably haven't broken anything, but getting an x-ray tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm confined to resting and keeping my leg elevated. Which means on the bright side, I'm not working friday evening.

It was really just the endless open expanses of nothing on Tattooine and Hoth that annoyed me. Corellia was eminently forgettable but I'm sure that's me suppressing memories.

Yay! More RP time for Shai Shai.

And I too love Alderaan. On an RP server, I had one of my characters permanently retire there (before strongholds or any of that showed up) after I finished his storyline because it was just too wonderful.

I also like Tython a lot visually.

Of the starting planets... Korriban and then Tython. Don't care much one way or the other for Hutta and Ord Mantell. This counts in terms of scenic value, and construction.

Korriban is the most tightly focused starting planet in terms of quests aligning with your storyline. Everything is close, or just a short taxi-ride away. Tython kind of the same, except that the flesh raiders and Twi'lek settlement just feels weird to me in the overall picture there.

It's been ages since I played. I never really got too far. Smuggler and Sith Warrior are probably the ones I got farthest on. Pretty sure Hoth is where I burned out on the later. Not sure on the former. I'm going to guess Tatooine.

This. Or any other quality single player RPG set in old republic era.

For the longest, I tried to view TOR as KOTOR 3, it just has randos running around in the game world who I occasionally had to partner up with in order to experience a group dungeon or something.

I still carry that mentality to this day.
