Move not so much, you still have to hit with the Discipline check, Harm is an auto success.

Does that mean that you lose the money for the mod and must buy a new mod to attempt to install the mod on the attachment again, or that you must buy a new attachment because that type of mod cannot be attempted to be installed on that attachment again?

I will go the former, you just lose the money for the Mod.

Only if you fail you take the additional 4 strain.
