Baesal woke up, her vision blurred and in pain

She tried to get up but something was wrong: her left arm was broken

''SHIT!''

She had an idea of where she was at least and began walking in that direction

The first thing that hits her besides the pain in her arm, is the oppressive heat and the noise of native life. The remnants of her hydro-chute hang from a high tree and nearby she hears a babbling brook meandering through the jungle.

Baesal cursed in her breath and advances, lightsaber in hand, weary of the environement...she was no jungle lass

She spots a hooded figure by the brook, seems to be a male with a large frame and fur where the hood and cloak are not covering his frame, mainly the exposed hands.

Not sure of the nature of the figure, she decides to observe him from where she is...trying to shhe if it may be an hostile

The figure speaks, “You seem injured, little one can I offer assistance?” His voice is deep and guttural but relaxed and peaceful.

“I am not violent like the natives, I can promise you that.”

He turns to reveal a hooded cathar.

Baesal blinks and she seems unsure...he saw her? She approaches carefully, her good hand still on her saber

''That would be nice but...who are you?''

“Just a traveler, like you, mind if I look at your arm?” he says with a feral but inviting smile.

She squints her eye in suspicion

''...A traveler? From where?'' she glances at her arm

Its too good, maybe its another bloody test? A Sith Lord in diguise?

“Born on Nal Hutta if you must know, my parents were owned by Gibolsa the Hutt,” he said calmly.

Baesal looked incredulous

''I did not see you at...er...'' she bit her lip

''I'm Baesal Zyn by the way...why are you here?''

“I got a bit turned around, actually. Are you sure I can’t look at that arm, that looks painful?” he says with concern. He makes no threatening moves.

She finally relents...with a strange mixture of curiosity,fear and...hope?

''I...okay...er'' she shake her head

''Just know that I have my lightsaber ready should you try something'' she continues as she gets closer

“An elegant weapon,” he says with a smile.

“This planet is filled with pain and suffering, but I have a medical kit.” He gestures for her to sit and then begins working on her arm and after fifteen minutes of work he has her arm in a sling.

“It should be better on the morrow, but take it easy. Your nerves are pretty raw at the moment, Baesal. Master Raji Xen, you can just call me Raji,” he finishes.

OOC: Raji fixes her Crippled arm with mundane Medicine.

''Oh...Thanks...'' she then cocks her head at a tiny detail

''Master Raji Xen?''

“It’s just a title, Raji is fine,” he says waving it off.

“If you follow this brook, you should reach your allies.”

Well, I don't think he is a Sith at least

Baesal was slightly more comfortable but the while thing seemed odd. Hazzan was the last one she knew who went by the title of 'master' and that's because he turned Jedi...oh

''Are you...y'know...a...'' she was not sure she should ask that question

“Just as I sense you are on the path of the Sith, but you are injured. That takes precedence over any ideological concerns. I would get a cooling pad once you reach your encampment, should soothe the pain,” he says calmly.

The togruta did not know which leg to stand on...he was a Jedi! From the republic! Maybe...maybe he could bring her home? Did she still have a home in there?

And what about Moyr?

She gave a slow nod and whispered "Thank you" before beginning a slow walk towards the camp, still in shock from the chance encounter

“Be safe Baesal, you always have a home if you wish to return to it,” he says warmly.

''If I can return to it...I wonder...''

She gives a sigh

''I'll keep that in mind Master Raji, but I'm not sure I belong to the ligh side anymore then I belong to the dark''

“Why do you say that?” he asks.

She looks around and elects to take a seat near the Jedi

They better not expect pontuality from me after I've crashed

''Honestly, both extremes seems more like dogmatic drivel then an accurate portrayal of thing''

Raji nods with a chuckle, “They can see that way until one realizes that life is more complex than just good and evil. Light and dark. Many people simplify Jedi beliefs as simply champions of some nebulous light, maybe that is so to some extend but life is more than just light versus dark. We are stewards of peace and yet we master the art of war.”

“No one is ever just a single thing, nor is life so simplistic that living a good life means never doing anything bad. The Force is all things, good and bad, all pieces of a larger whole.”

He takes a seat in a meditative pose and says, “Have you met many Jedi?”

''I've met Master Hazzan...or rather his Holocron'' she frowns

''It seem the poor guy was so horrified by the ritual he created that he switched 180 degrees''
