Description: The Massassi have been spotted nearby and Captain Harad is concerned he has put together a squad of soldiers to meet them and wants Sith along just in case. You four get volunteered to meet the savage natives and try and see what they want.
Each Player may choose one roll to take and they need 10 total successes, Triumph is worth 2 successes even if the roll fails. Despair costs the group 1 success. One advantage can be used to grant the next person a boost die and three Advantage can be used to grant a specific person in this event a boost die.; these options can only be chosen once per roll meaning if you have 4 advantage you can give the next person a boost die and a specific person a boost die, but not four boost to the next person.
- Hey, Listen!: This stage requires a Lore or Xenology roll at Daunting to understand the Massassi language enough to make communication possible. Failing this roll Upgrades the difficulty on the next three rolls. This stage must be done first.
- Swords for Everyone!: This stage requires a martial display at Hard difficulty utilizing a Combat skill of the players choice.
- Peace is a Lie?: The player makes a Deception or Leadership roll to show the Massassi they do not wish to quarrel with the Empire this roll is versus 2 challenge dice and a Difficulty die.
- Shiny?: This is a Negotiation roll at Hard difficulty with two setback dice as the massassi are hard to please. Gain a Boost die if you offer something shiny or a weapon to the Massassi.
Rewards: Less than four successes and the Massassi village is closed off to the students. Five successes and this Massassi tribe will not interfere in Empire affairs but want nothing to do with them. Ten or more successes and the Massassi allow the students access to their village.
