Turning get attention to the Togruta, she says "I've not been there, perhaps we'll have to exchange stories sometimes. As for the 'nobles,' I try to stay out of their hair when I can. Best answer would be neither, realistic answer would be for. Of course, with our situations, not by choice." She thought for a moment, then added "I suppose I may have overthought the question, but I hope you got the jist of what I meant."

Spare me the fake sympathy

Layne didn't respond. Wasn't anything to say anyway, not now that the attention was back on the alien and political stuff.

The Togruta nodded not seeming explicitly hostile.

"At least I'll take it as honest. But if you intend to weasel for them I am afraid there is only so much we can talk about..."

She pondered for a time about Kessel before remembering some stories about it...The Sith took-over did not improve the place.

"From what I hear Kessel might be the manifested butthole of the galaxy. I'm glad you got out but it sucks that you are now stuck here... Korriban might be better but it sure is not a good place to be. I am quite certain we will be set up to fail at every opportunity."

"Whatever," she said, obviously neither surprised nor deterred. "Nothing new."

"Our different backgrounds before imprisonment and dispositions towards the imperials and Sith won't matter once we're down there. We'll all be in the same hell." She lets out a small sigh, and jeans further against the railing.

"That is incorrect, dear. They are sons and daughters of high ranking people...they are likely already partially trained or have way more ressources at their disposal. You must not forget that they despise non-sith, non-humans and 'inferior classes'..."

Baesal turned to the void of Space

"Some of us are here to be the stepping stones for others, likely them. I am not about to let that be bloody easy."

"Well, of course the purebloods and free people would have an advantage, I more meant of the three of us." She paused. "You'd be surprised."

She let out a dismissive snort. "I already met some."

Well, they weren't all nobles or what have you, but it wasn't as if there was much difference to her.

"One was a coward who confused me for a lord. Another was an idiot who just followed along with the coward in confusing me for a lord. And then the other was some rich fancypants with red eyes. He was smart... er, but likes his words too much. If I'm here to be a stepping stone for them, then someone's setting them up for failure, not me."

Zyn smiled at that

''I'm sure you'll give them trouble...but those bastard will likely bend together to push us away before beiong forced to fight amongst themselves.''

She then returns to Nunki

''Ah! Sorry if I put words in your mouth...constant surveillance is grating my nerves.''

"No worries." She says, reassuringly. She glances around the room at the stationed guards, then says in a quieter voice. "Don't blame you..."
