The Dark Academy on Korriban

"A different acolyte at the Academy... I was not bored... but understood the greater need. I spoke with you extensively about your teachings; I found a great deal of utility in them. When the other aspirant asked for a shot to learn more of you and the Jedi I relented." He said.

"You seemed happy about the opportunity to continue to teach more people about the Light... who am I to hoard your presence?"

He smiled weakly, "I've actually started to miss you quite a bit..."

“Except it wasn’t me that was the holocron… this is bizarre,” she says honestly.

He chuckled, "It was real enough for me... helped me realize that not all Jedi are... what would you call it.... 'jerkfaces'."

It wouldn't take long. Despite everything she felt... or perhaps even worse, couldn't feel, Kristal would never allow herself to not answer a message that so directly stated a need for her to be there. Especially one that perplexed her. At least that he asked for her to bring the pendant it allowed her the ability to not worry on her walk over.

Somewhere near about where they were, Kristal was slowly walking through the forest. Having not spotted them quite yet. As certainly a few Imperial Soldiers could attest, Kristal Serasai wasn't meant to be navigating forests.

She smirks and says, "Well thanks."

"This better be your friend approaching."

Looking over into the foliage, Sylvain spotted Kristal. "Hey Kris!" He called out in a voice that would reach only her. "Over here!"

Glancing up she caught sight of them. Making her way over with that calm, intentional pace of hers. Given the chance at seeing Thy's face the recognition would have been instant given the time she had spent staring at the images on the holopendant as she thought on things. It had given her plenty to think about.

However, given the circumstance that she wasn't readily revealing herself. Kristal's immediate attention went to Sylvain with eyes that demanded an explanation for all of this. She didn't really want to be mad at him, but she couldn't help it. Just... seeing his face reminded her of the pain.

"Kris." He said with welcoming but reserved eyes, "This is Thy Yulani... the real one." He gestured over to Thy.

Confused, Kristal looked to Thy. Given the clear age difference she had seen in the pendant of the other woman, and from her point of lacking information, she could only believe in that moment that for some strange reason Thy Yulani had returned to the sector. Perhaps in hopes of a search for her friend?

"Thy, this is Kristal Serasai. My friend and... my friend." He said with a weak smile.

"I introduced her to you last time by calling her a 'good soul'. I can't think of a better description this time either... I hope you'll like it as much now as your holocron did."

"Umm... hi apparently we know each, I am Thy, Jedi Knight," she says in greeting.

"I've seen your holocron, I do not believe that constitutes knowing one another," she says, glancing to Sylvain with a raised brow.

"You seem... about the same age. Which is puzzling."

He nodded, "I had the same question. Thy wanted to wait for you, but I don't know if we need to pressure her into answering something she isn't comfortable with answering."

He smiled gently at Thy then turned to Kristal, "Did you bring the medallion?"

“I like her,” she says calmly and to the latter question, “I got good Jedi genes.”

Upon Sylvain's asking of the question, Kristal simply reached for her neck with her left hand. Digging under her color until she found the pendant.

"Genes doesn't explain it, but I won't press for an explanation," she said as she pulled the pendant up and off her neck.

"I took this.. from your friend. They died well."

Kristal offered the pendant. It's purpose with her was done and though she never expected she might be able to return it chance seemed to give her a the opening.

They nods and says, “Yeah… I guess that’s okay.”

She frowns and adds, “Thank you though; you didn’t have to do this. That means something.”

"I did," she says with a strength to the position she took. Like a warrior. Honor.

"I apologize," she said as she revealed the lightsaber at her side too. Given the method of repair it looked rather close to the original. "Because I cannot return this. I require it to protect the ones I care for."

Despite everything, Kristal could trust that she could share that piece of information here.

“I understand, maybe it was always destined to come to you. She is one with the Force now, maybe one day it may return to the Jedi,” she says.

“I have to go.” With that leapt up into the trees, easily twenty meters and is gone.

For a few moments, Kristal just looked up into the canopy of the trees. Instinct told her to track Thy's movements, but she didn't actual care to put the effort into it. Letting the Jedi run off. Which was new, given the previous relationship with the shade of the woman.

"That was... something..."

Sylvain watched the girl jump into the trees, "It was... wasn't it. The Force moves mysteriously."

"Hmm.." was her vocalized response for Sylvain. That they weren't words were certainly indicative of the current schism between the two.

"Thanks Kris. I think it'd mean a lot to her." He said with a weak smile. It was the same thing he had said to Thy.

"Get my email this morning?" He asked, looking for nothing other than confirmation.

"I did."

Sylvain's heart was usually in the right place, this proved that to her again. Even if it didn't fix things in the slightest. That message he had sent wiggled about the knife sticking out of her chest.

"Good." He said simply.

Then pausing for several tense seconds, "Well... be safe today Kris."

"You too."

Kristal said after a few more, not able to figure out how else to be in this moment. Shutting a lot of herself down. Reserved. Cold.
