"Everyone has some redeeming qualities."

Moyr smiled.

"How are you today, dear?"

''I am...more calm then I was yesterday. I had time to think about what you told me and accepted it''

She closed her eyes

''But I will not lie in saying that it does not hurt...but the pain is not something I can avoid now.''

Moyr replied calmly, though with a hint of grief.

"Your other option has ever been embracing the Dark Side."

Baesal smirked

She sits in a more relaxed manner

''The thing that hurts the most is that I am hurting you as well. I hope you'll forgive me.''

She gave a sigh

''That does sound cheesy...but you get the gist. I'll get the feeling I'll suck at that jedi thing''

Moyr smirked briefly, her more solemn mood taking over soon after.

"It is the Sith Code that gives me a shot at the freedom I cannot live without. It is my path, Baes. if we were true sisters, I would be the evil one. I killed Anya Veers last night and allowed the vile ghost who was possessing her to inhabit a Massassi that would now lead the Gunda tribe into a bloody war of domination over Yavin. For what? For power."

She pulled out and donned the Red Mask of Yavin.

"This future blood is on my hands, and I am not sorry. A month ago I convinced my fellow Twi'leks to let themselves be butchered. Their blood is also on my hands. Before I am done with my path to freedom through the Force, there will have been piles of corpses in my wake. You can joke about how crappy a Jedi you'd be. And I tell you: don't become one if you don't want to be tasked with killing me one day. So don't worry too much about hurting me. The balance sheet of pain because of the suffering I inflict upon the world will forever be tipped in my favour."

She frowns

''We were both forced to do black things on Korriban. The system installed worked and is still working against us both.''

She got up and goes to sit before Moyr and lifts the mask from her face and puts it aside

''Don't go hiding that pretty face of yours under that ugly thing!'' she said, smiling, before continuing

''The sith code is appealing but it is flawed in its current interpretation...my research showed me as much. Following it does not make us evil.''

"I follow my own interpretation, Baes."

Moyr carefully put the mask back under her cloak.

"It doesn't change the fact that your new soon-to-be friends are very likely to consider me a monster."

''Well my-soon-to-be-friends don't know you'' she replied with a finger raised

She gave her a wink

''You are a smart cookie so I guess you already it know it: They will try to make you think, and will try to make everyone else think, that you are a monster. They will also try to make you think that becoming one the only way to freedom. I you ever think they are about to succeed, let me know and I'll smack some sense back into you...and if I ever become a self-rightgeous, pompous ass I hope you can do the same.''

she shrugs

''I put an encrypted channel on your pad so we can keep in touch''

Moyr listened to Baes carefully and at the end of it she just smiled faintly and kissed the other woman on the lips. Before Baes could make a fuss out of it, her expression turned toward that of a reproof.

"When did you manage to slice into my datapad?!"

She grinned ear to ear

"Everyone has some redeeming qualities."

Moyr wiggled her finger, then just smiled.

"Will I be able to upload data through it, or just talk?"

''Both'' she said nodding

''It uses the holonet so it will be suberged in traffic and thus hard to find. The encryption adds a layer to that.''

She scratches her head

''Once I'm on the other side I will try to improve the means of communications...but that should be sufficiant for now''

"I intend to get back to the starspot later today. My intuition tells me there's something there that has eluded us. If I luck out, this will likely be my first upload transmission."

She paused.

"Don't call me back immediately. If I hear nothing of you then I'll assume you've succeeded. We'll get in touch once the interest in the matter dies down."

Baesal nods in understanding

''I'll leave you the first communication. I'm likely to be monitored by the republic but the Empire is worst on that aspect.''

She looked thoughful

''I'll also leave Victoria with you. It'll protect and serve you well.''

"That's quite the gift, Baes! But I don't see how I can keep her without exacerbating suspicions."

She smiles

''I have instructed it to guard our tent and, in the advent of trouble, she is tasked to protect and serve you until I come back. They know we are close so such a command is not out of the ordinary.''

"I suppose I can claim it... Give me some tips how to reprogram it to follow my instructions in everything. And I'd like to rename her."

''Reprogramming it will not be easy but it won't be required: once trouble hits you'll have no problem commanding it...even give it a new designation''

"So if i ask her to become Virginia, she'd comply?"

Moyr mused.

"Also, does she have an option to wield a sword?"

''Yes for the name...nay for the sword I am afraid''

She looked like considering the idea

''Her frame is not build for it but upgrades are possible...she older then the great hyperspace wars Moyr, keep that in mind''

"I'll remember that she has a value for collectioneers."

Moyr chuckled.

"What is the level of her tactical comprehension?"

She shrugs with a grin

''Useful and dependable...but only in regards to shooting things''
