The Dark Academy on Korriban

Jun-Tsu stood before the library central terminal information scrolling across one of the large monitors there. Her eyes poured over the titles and dossiers of hundreds of items. Carefully she assessed each one. Her robes rustled quietly as she shifted from one foot to the next, fingers diligently moving across the screen. Finally, she paused in her search and inserted her datapad into a designated slot and transferred the information onto it.

Hundreds of books she might not have access to later, and would soon be a part of the Farro library. All were ancient historical texts detailing what the Sith knew of the Infinite Empire, Sith sorcery, and where the two subjects converged.

Remmington enters the library with certainty that he is going to find Jun-Tsu there and he is not disappointed. He smiles when he greets her. "Hey Jun-Tsu. Congrats on becoming a Sith. I guess you are going to miss this place after all the work we all put into cleaning it up?"

"In truth I long to be rid of it. As much az it helped me, I did zo to earn zhe fawor of Lord Sawas, but in zhe end I had no need of his council or his lessons. Zo, ultimately, I hawe done zhis vork only for meinzelf, und Lord Sawas vill reap zhe lasting benefitz. Ztill, before I go, I plan to take as much as I can from zhe library back to Korriz as I can." She continued to filter through the library database.

Remmington nods. "That sounds like a good plan. Hmm... maybe I should download some of the digital files while I have the chance then as well. Never know what might be useful in the future."

He looks over to Jun-Tsu. "Did you want help with that? What are you going to do once we set out tomorrow?"

"How do you mean?" She asked with a cant of her head. Her fingers moved across the console to bring up guides and references to holocrons and ancient dark jedi.

"I vill be returning to Korriz. It iz zhe zafest place vhile I'm in zhis ztate und mein family are zhe only v'ones who know zhe Farroic ritualz zhat I need to perform to continue zhe childs growth in zhe Dark Side, not to mention mein own. Besides, I am not az bound az zhe rest of you. Mein master iz alvays vith me. Und I do long to continue mein studies beneath great-grandmuter."

Remmington connects his datapad and starts copying over information. "That is probably the best course of action for you. For myself, I still have to follow up on some treasure hunting leads but I'll be sure to come to Korriz at the very least in time to meet our daughter." He smiles warmly at that.

He nods and comments on the void engine. "I guess it's really handy that you can carry it around so easily like that."

"Vhat iz more conweinient iz zhat zhe Dark-light haz not made any demandz of me bevor it vould reweal itzelf to me. Unlike a flesh und bone mazter who might be inclined to zeek zheir own endz outzide zhe Dark-light, mein masterz zeek a union zhat can be sought anyvhere."

"Though I hardly see anyone or anything doing anything for free. I imagine at some point you will have to perform duties as a citizen of the In... Empire was it?" Remmington looks around quickly to make sure not prying ears or droids are about.

She nodded, "Yes, zhough much like your own oathz to zhe dead Sith king, I am not zertain zuch zervice vill ever be called upon. Zhey are far removed from our destiny, for better or vorse."

Remmington shrugs. "Well I suppose that works out better for me at least. I honestly don't know what he could have taught me."

"Vhile ve do not need to be slawes und serwents to long dead regimes, zhere iz a visdom to both. For example zhat boon of yourz. Ve could have found out vhat it might have been used for. But it iz consolation zhat ve know other uzes for such treasures."

Remmington nods as he carefully places his hand over Gram and pats the hilt. "That is true. If we knew the old ways of doing things perhaps we can find new and/or better ways of getting the most of this."

"Perhapz in time zhe myztery vill reweal itzelf. But zhat iz up to you. Knowledge like zhat does not just fall into v'one's lap." She looked up to the stacks. "It'z possible v'one of zhese texts holdz zhe answer."

"Can we just take books out of here?" Remmington looks around. "Then again I don't think anyone would know even if we did."

"None save prophetz und librarians," she said cryptically as she returned to the terminal.

"Do you have any idea what happened with some of the other acolytes? I didn't see Nunki or Baesal around. " Remmington asks as he peruses his own terminal.

"What do you mean?" Jun-Tsu asked off-handedly. She wasn't one to pay attention to the comings and goings of other students in the best of times, let alone whether Rem meant in the library or in general.

"Well I don't think I saw that at all during that battle on Yavin or afterwards at all. Plus I think some students went off somewhere else in the temple as well." Remmington clarifies.

"I couldn't zay. I vas diztracted vith other zhings. Vhile lady Okatesh vas a startlingly rezourceful und cunning mystic, her experience vith channeling and molding zuch ritualz vas rather...limited. Zhough, it allowed me to direct zhe flow a touch better by holding more of zhe powver."

"But to zhe point, I zuppoze. Neither v'one iz zomevone I have zpoken vith wery often, but I haven't zeen zhem either. But again...not zhat I vas looking."

"Have you learned any interesting new techniques since you acquired... a teacher?" Remmington asks curiously.

"I'm wondering if you are going to use incorporate them into the rituals that House Farro already has."

"I've not learned anyzhing yet zhat can truly be conzidered new to zhe vays of House Farro, but I've learned much. I don't know vhether it's zhe force vithin me," she said in cryptic reference to their growing daughter, "or zhe rezult of channeling zo much of zhe Dark-light recently, but I can feel it velling vithin me."

She smirked viciously at the console as she took a break from searching documents to ruminate on her growth. "Vhat v'once might have taken I und a few of mein sisters to accomplish, I can do on mein own. I can feel zo much more of zhe flow of zhe Dark-light, und I grasp it zo much more firmly. I get now how much more powverful great-grandmuter iz zhan meinzelf, und how great her maztery iz."

"That is the wonders of having a great teacher. Especially with one so knowledgeable. Once you return to Korriz I suppose you will be sharing it with House Farro? Or are you going to try to secure it for yourself and our daughter?" Remmington asks.

"Zhe ztrength of House Farro iz mein ztrength. Und mein ztrength iz zhe ztrength of House Farro." She recited as though it answered the question.

"Well glad that works out for you and House Farro. Your House should become much more powerful with what you found and with the child we have on the way." Remmington comments.
