[D11 LM Jo'ren's] Mandatory Massasi Meeting

Sinea knocked on Joren's door. Today was their last day on Korriban.... at least hers, and for now. Who knows what the future holds.... well, an Okatesh knows, of course.

Her mind was racing about the visions shown by the dead head. Jo'ren was involved, at least, and some dark one plotting.... like always.

"Come."

Jo'ren's voice was only slightly muffled through the door. He turned to face the entrance when the door slid back and gave Sinea a smile.

"Sinea Okatesh, what a pleasure. Good morning."

"Oh, a pleasure? And I haven't even said anything." She moved into the room, and took a look around. Dressed to the nines even early in the morning, she smiled up at the large man. "So, how is the protector of the temple doing?"

That got her a bigger smile. "No, but you do look delightful. I'm well thanks. Just gathering my things, preparing to leave tonight."

His survival kit was all packed up and there was a backpack ready to be filled. A rope was attached to the outside of it, and within there appeared to be assorted electronics, individually wrapped.

"Well, I'm glad you appreciate the effort?" She glanced at his kit. "I hope you want to pack up early so you can enjoy the rest of the day... or are you leaving early?" She moved closer to him, though she had to practically look straight up at him now. "I hope you have some time left for me at least."

"I'm not leaving just yet Sinea. Early tomorrow late tonight depending on when my shuttle arrives." He looked straight down at the petite sith/Sith and smiled. "How much time would you like, that's the question."

"Well, depends on how much we want to talk about." She reached up and stroked his cheek. "So... what are you planing with the Massassi, oh Sith Rath?"

He took her hand, it was swallowed up easily in his. "Someone has been divining the future, hasn't she?" He gave her a curious glance and then moved over to sit on the bed, clearing a space for her to sit.

"Come on then, let's hear what the future may or may not hold." He gave her a wry smile and patted the sheets.

"Oh, you know me so well." As she sat, shesat close to him. "And in return... I already revealed something." She pouted. "Where's my reward?"

"That depends. What is it that you want, Sinea Okatesh?" He had a few ideas, but it seemed like fun to make her ask.

"Oh? Me. Why, a great many things." She leaned her head onto his large arm. "You know me.... information to keep me entertained." She looked up. "I much prefer to hear it with your voice rather than see it myself."

He chuckled at her as she lay there against his arm. "Alright then, since you love my voice so much. What do you want to know? Deepest darkest secrets is it? Or have you got a special request? Something about my assignment perhaps..."

He squeezed her shoulder a little, pressing her further up against him.

"Mhm... what are you and your master planning with the Massassi?" Her eyes looked up at him, trying to play the doe. "And what is magpie?"

He raised an eyebrow as he stared down at her. "Our plans for the Massassi weren't exactly going to stay secret for long, but it sounds like you already know about them. 'Magpie' though? I don't know. This is something new, it's the first time I've heard the word."

Jo'ren looked down at her with a determined expression. "Tell me what you saw."

"I hope you're not surprised." Her lips formed a small smile. "Oh, you know me better than that. Tell me the plans, and I'll tell you what I saw." She lay a small kiss on his arm.

Jo'ren shrugged and gave her a wink. "I'm surprised you didn't know already with your mystical powers and all. I'm going back to Yavin IV to train the Massassi. They are going to become the newest addition to Darth Vengean's forces."

He gave her a serious look. "Which leads me to ask what you saw in this vision, and what 'Magpie' means."

Sinea sighed. "I'm going to be generous Jo'ren, and I'll be honest and open. I hope you appreciate that." Her voice was sincere. "I can answer the first one, but not the second one." She explained her vision to him:

The head is a severed massasi head painted white with flecks of blood and a look of shock frozen on the face. It is just lying on the stone ground for all to see, nothing super exciting.

In the eyes she can see future conquests more bloodshed as the Empire forces come to Yavin IV, in time the massassi are uplifted and slowly integrated into the Empire proper. She sees the Queen meeting with a powerful Sith… she sees Jo’ren there and she senses a dark figure unseen plotting.

Whe she comes back from the vision she sees a corvid bird feasting on an eyeball and it looks at Sinea and says, “Magpie.”

It then flies off.

"It's.... I don't know. It's been a while since I got an unbidden vision."

It took a while to digest all of that.

"You said this came to you unbidden? Just after the battle by the sounds of it." The powerful Sith had to be Vengean, so who was the plotter, and who or what was the Magpie?

Eventually he nodded. "Thanks for coming to me with this Sinea. You didn't have to."

She shrugged. "You're Sith, I'm sure you'll make use of this information, but you haven't betrayed me yet." She smiled at him, slightly. "I figure I gave you a chance, and you seem the sort to pay it back. So, training the Masari?"

"Well it's good that you're cautious, but I can't imagine why you think I'd betray you at all." He shrugged. "Yeah, I'll pay it back. Who are you going to be apprenticing for?"

He grinned. "And yes, training the massassi. Remember them? Big red folks, bit like us?"

"For an advantage." She answered matter of factly. "You mean the ones whose bodies almost crushed me, swinging crude blades, cutting my clothes and skin into pieces? I think I recall them a bit." She held her breath. "Well, good luck. I'm sure you'll do well. Let me know if you find any good bodyguard material."

"Seems a bit early in the day for that sort of cynicism." He shrugged, unable to see a reason to betray Sinea any time in the near future. "No, the other Massassi. The ones with the blood wine, and the swinging blades going in the other direction." He winked at her. "You're looking for a bodyguard huh? Sure, I'll keep my eyes open."

Slowly he reached up and placed a hand on her face, brushing some loose hairs away ad running his big fingers into her hair. "They're like, three times the size of you Sinea. But the force is your ally."

She smiled as his hand touched her face. "You're adorable." She giggled. "The Force is my ally... but as awesome as it is, it's not good to rely only on one ally." Her hand reached up to caress his face. "Never tried bloodwine."

"That's true. So is what you said about allies." He winked at her, he was kind of adorable. "I don't see why we couldn't work together Sinea, and our masters don't seem to be opposed at the moment. Shane you didn't try it when you had the chance, I suppose I'll have to bring you some."
