The Dark Academy on Korriban

"Quite true.... besides, I think reigning him in would be more effort than its worth." She shrugged. "There's enough for all of us."

Remmington walks into the cantina for the party and looks around. He makes note of Kristal's arm but looks around for someone free to talk to. Spotting Layne at the bar he pulls up beside her. "Well I guess this is congratulations on becoming Sith. How are you doing Layne?" He asks with a smile as he orders something to drink.

"My, I should certainly hope so," she chuckled. Already her mind was pleasantly distracted by the thought of what the two of them could get up to with Jo'ren. Poor guy might probably feel like two nexu cats were sizing him up as their next meal.

"Anyone else catch your interest?" she asked, placing her drink down and looking away from the meal for now.

"Oh, perhaps the golden boy of the Academy. Or you know... the bloody one." She smirked. "How about you?"

"Yavin IV appears to have been a transformative experience for a good deal of us," she said. With the thought that for some it was more than others.

"Tattooine," she said with a pause for another drink of the wonderfully alcoholic beverage in her hand.

Rum approached to where Moyr, Zeno and Sylvain were talking.

'' My dear Moyr! Look at you! Such a beauty. Such a privilege helping a beauty like you.''

'' Lord Deathwright, Lord Torsin. Nice to see you two here as well'' The big duros salute them by tipping his awesome hat.

Sylvain nodded a greeting to the giant Duros.

She rolled her eyes.

"I don't like frivolous questions like how I'm doing. You should know that by now. Well, what master did you end up with?"

Zeno really didn't get a word in edgewise in the exchanges.

"Something like that Syl. Death by alcohol isn't the worst way to go. And believe you me Moyr. That's why I had to eventually take a break. I was feeling it more than I was showing it," he said with a smile.

"How are you doing?" he says to Rumun. "And Zeno is fine."

"Very true." Some had not returned at all. He wondered what had happened to Baesal, and the girl with the Republic accent. "The Outer Rim then. Decided you prefer the deserts to the jungle?" He sipped his cold beer. "Will this be your first trip?"

"I've become addicted to harsh, hostile, and hot environments," she said in jest. "I've not been past Dromund Kaas until I came here to Korriban. Have you been to Tattooine?" Kristal asked with an inflection that seemed to prob for suggestions, maybe even advice.

"Hah, well if the choice is between sand in your armour or jungle bugs, I'll take the bugs." He took another sip and nodded. "I have actually. My father took me on a trip there when I was a kid. Saw a Krayt dragon, from a very safe distance. Watch out for those sand people, freaking weird bunch, and then there's the Jawas. They can pretty much find you anything, and it'll work, just don't ask how or where they got it from."

In reaction to Rum's words Moyr turned around her axis in a graceful twirl, demonstrating the hovering capacity of the mermaid bottom of her dress, and her own curves to die for.

"You're just trying to console me, Zeno. You yourself admitted you're conditioned through military training."

She chuckled, then looked between Rum and Syl.

"Now, I think we have the greatest condensation of mystery men in this room."

He smiled, "You seem to be enjoying the attention Moyr."

He looked up at Rumun, "If it's tall, dark, and handsome you're after though I think Rumun's got us beat hands down."

"Makes the mess that was Yavin IV almost sound like an actual vacation," she said with another drink passing her lips.

"You've guaranteed yourself another conversation in the future Jo'renn. I will be sure to inform you of just how helpful that is. With my luck I will wander straight into the nest of a Krayt Dragon. Might even make it out alive."

Raising her glass again to indicate the slight change in topic back onto him, "Your turn, what sends you back to Yavin IV if you can share."

"Do I, Syl? Oh my. Then I might just up the ante on the issue you've just raised."

Moyr downed her drink and left the boys behind, moving toward the stage. Shim's band knew her from her previous gig at the cantina, and eagerly shared the space. A few words with them and she was with the mike, the Private to second her in a piece.

Striking a pose, batting a lash.

"Fellow Sith grads, since we've just returned from the wild wild Yavin, something feral for the evening to reminisce the best and the worst."

"Seems we both have excellent tastes," she chuckled. "Well, the second-place golden boy isn't too bad either. Just a pity I haven't seen him around much... I suspect Thanaton has already picked him up."

Sylvain smiled as Moyr stood up to go and sing, the mask hid his smile and his eyes that wandered around the bar.

Leaning into the bartender he pointed to some drinks, "This for the Sith woman in the lighter dress, and this for the woman with the one arm."

After seeing him begin to make the drinks he turned back to hear start her song.

Listening and nodding as she sang he smiled and clapped as she finished.

'' Fine, Fine. A bit tired from my late Niman form training. I think that now, finally, I have began to understand the intricacies of combat.'' He answered politely.



'' Magnificent, truly magnificient. ''



'' Now, Now, Lord Torsin. I think you are exaggerating. Zeno's charms and yours are clearly are more suited for this situation. '' He replied.

Downing his drink before the song, he listens intently. He claps at the performance after it's finished.

"I don't think I can let her show me up boys," he says stepping up to the stage at it's base, holding his hand out for the mic.

"Let's try to kick this up, eh?"

When it's in his hands he flips up onto stage in Ataru fashion, before talking to the band quietly. He then turns and and starts with the music with a lot of energy.

Moyr made way for Zeno to hit the spotlight, rejoining Syl and Rum with a curious glance though without a further word, just picking a new drink on the way. She clapped with her fingertips when Zeno finished, cheering him.

Thorne leans against the wall watching her fellow Sith quietly, much has changed for her and some things not at all.

"Well, trips with my father always ended up teaching me more lessons than I was expecting. I still don't know if that was intentional or not." He raised a hand horizontally and waggled it. "It's 50/50."

A drink was placed on the bar in front of Kristal. Jo'ren didn't comment, he just gave a her a look, and a shrug.

"I'm already looking forward to our next conversation Kristal. It wouldn't surprise me if you came back with a Pearl." He sipped his beer, which was by now getting low.

"My Master sends me to Yavin IV. We have unfinished business there. Business that will bring additional strength to the Empire. Perhaps you can guess what that might be. In any case, I'm looking forward to it." The opportunity to explore further, and perhaps to speak with Exar Kun once again, was well worth the bugs and vaccinations.

The Drink was well timed, if not entirely understood where it came from. Though she didn't care much to question it right now. With her glass empty she just wanted to get working on the next one anyway. It was certainly apparent that she wasn't caring for that normal civility that came with higher class company and drinks.

"I will be far too busy on Tattooine for that unfortunately," she said, then hinted further at her purpose. "With any luck I will be finished with my task before long."

"Father's always find way to teach the best lessons without making them ever appear to be that," she offered back on that point. Having merely nodded acknowledgement to the satisfaction with his assignment. Given how vaguely put it was. A drink to that.

"Seems like it's open mic-night tonight, Sin," she chuckled amusedly as she watched the performances. And gladly accepted the new drink... casting a nod in Sylvain's direction.

"Do you sing, perhaps?"
