The Dark Academy on Korriban

Returning to her room, Kristal made herself look presentable and set up the holo-call that was necessary to make at the end of her journey on Korriban. Can't make the next step without knowing where her foot was going to land.

As soon as the image appeared, Kristal lowered her head as she stood arms behind her back. Unintentionally hiding her left arms condition from sight.

"Darth Marr."

Darth Marr appears on his command deck pacing and says, “Apprentice.”

“You hide your injuries as if they make you lesser. No warrior goes through this life unharmed.”

He pauses and adds, “Once you have that arm replaced you will be going to Tattooine, the Empire has a need and you will fulfill it.”

"As you wish, Master."

Kristal assumes a less formal stance, one that allows her full state to be witnessed. However her tone was, as always, coolly professional.

"I have not experienced a loss so great before, it takes some adjusting. In light of that. There is an opportunity to replace it with some of the greater Cybernetics available to us. With your approval I would like to request my replacement be of that degree."

“I will see it done; I will not have you going into combat with anything but the best our Empire can provide. You will be reporting to my command ship once you have finished your recovery and then your work begins,” Marr commands.

"I will be sure to repay you through action, my lord."

"In relation to that, there are a few loyal soldiers I have met in my time here. Serving as mere guardsman for the academy is below those of their merit and I would have them transferred off Korriban. If possible, under my command. I can send you their names at a later time that is more appropriate."

"Send me the names, every Sith needs loyal followers," Marr says.

"It will be done, Master." Kristal says as she inclines her head.

Allowing for Marr to end the call, or add anything more as he saw fit.

“Be ruthless in my service; serve the Empire in all actions my apprentice. Put aside divisions of the past, your focus is the war,” Marr says.

"I look forward to the chance to face my enemies, the Empire's enemies, in battle," she adds with the cool Imperial tone.

"Nothing will stand in my way."

"Excellent," Marr says with approval.

He ends the call.

With the call ended, Kristal found herself relaxing in the chair just a few steps away from where she had stood. Mentally going over the first, proper, Master and Apprentice conversation they had. It made her feel confident moving forward. Everything today had been.

Perhaps, now, she could enjoy herself for the last day on Korriban.
