The Dark Academy on Korriban

I know, right?

My download is stuck at 99.71%. I can't access my characters so i made a pureblood sith warrior. Annoying.

What turned me off was that I had bought into the collectors edition from the start. Then when stuff went free to play they took away a lot of my nice shinies.

*shakes fist at EA*

That's pretty incredibly lame.

Also unsurprising coming from EA.

Like they gave me a bunch of free Cartel Coins but I couldn't do much with that. I used some just to be able to 'hide' my helmet. Getting my credits capped at 100k was severely lame as I had millions saved up to purchase an expensive speeder and crystal. They had so many micro-transactions it was insane. I would have thought supporting them from the beginning I could at least keep the stuff I had before. Just terribly annoying when your credits are capped and you lose bank/vault space.

Preaching to the choir, man. It happened to me too.

A lot of those caps go away when/if you re-subscribe, but it does powerfully suck to lose all that cash and all that other stuff.

I almost always subscribe to games I play regularly (so DDO and SWTOR)... not only because I want full access when I play the game, but I know that money is what makes the game go round; updates, patch-work, content, etc... If I want a game to continue and to fix its errors, then I pay.


I do recommend people to subscribe at least once, so that when the subscription ends, you'll be Preferred Player rather than Free-to-play, which is slightly better.

I finally did it, I created a new account because the old one was a chore to reactivate

Reriliya (Sith Juggernaut, in storage)
Vakna (BH, next in line to have her story done)

Za'orahn (Smuggler, on Chapter 3 of her story)
Sonali (Jedi Shadow, on schedule to do her story last)

And so I was stuck at 99%...Following instructions I need to reinstall parts of the game

Currently Level 11, still on Korriban.

Can't access my account now :/ When I hit play it changes my screen resolution and then doesn't do anything more. Anyone else having this problem?

No. I finally got mine working and can leave Korriban

I finally finished with my Smuggler last night, so now I'm on my Bounty Hunter, Vakna. Finished the Black Talon last night to get the speeder bike.

Doing Esseles or Black Talon is recommended. Gives you lots of xp and a free Speeder. If you do it in a group, you will earn at least Social Rank 1.

Multiple 50+ level characters now, and not a single Social Point earned on any of them.

/sigh

Yeah, you only get Social Points for teaming up together for missions, Heroics, Flashpoints and Operations.

Time to do the Foundry on my BH . . . alone.

Well alone but with a companion, probably Mako, and a combat droid, and the crew of the captured cruiser . . . and the Empire Fleet. Totally alone apart from them.
