She nodded, nursing her drink silently with an eye towards the growing student celebration. Her features remained neutral almost predatory in her watching. But maybe it was just a trick of the light.

Moyr smiled a coy smile when Syl cared to return from his social rounds. One drink more and she was ready to go, giving him a discreet signal to follow. The doubts he had just sown had to be addressed, give or take, to whatever resolution.
