It was fun. I got from level 12 to 23 in a few hours, and scored my first flashpoint (Black Talon) with Zeno's Marauder. Didn't get the speeder though, I think, but I am unsubscribed. Made only one Light Side choice so far and that's because I clicked on it by mistake.

I want to make a Pure Blood Sith Smuggler just so I can slap Corso Riggs.

The most crushing part of playing a Smuggler was realizing that as a good person, the only companion I could bring, make light side choices with, and not piss off regularly was Corso.

December 2nd is the launch date for Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion.

There's going to be a lot of changes, especially to Crystals and Gear, so I recommend people taking a look at what's coming.

Does this mean I should be spending my hoard of crystals before then?

I am so tempted to sub for a month just to get that artefact helmet equipped . . . . it's a 200+ level item and it irritates me no end that its sat in the cargo hold gathering dust because Preferred Status players can't use artifacts.

Would it unequip after a month if I cancelled the sub and went back to preferred?

I don't know the exact Crystal - Credits ratio as I haven't had the chance yet today, but will do so when I get home. Though Googling it will probably yield a sufficient answer today as I wager there is stuff on the SWTOR forums about it.

As for the helmet, all Gear stays on after you become Preferred but you cannot, IIRC, take it off and re-equip it, or equip new Artifact gear
