I am awaiting the arrival of the year of the fire chicken in 2 weeks.

And the next book for Force and Destiny is... The Consular sourcebook! Adding Arbiter, Ascetic, and Teacher as specialisations.

Admittedly I was hoping for Warrior, but this one looks interesting.

Ascetic looks like something I'll check out. Hopefully has a double Force Rating in its tree. I think it would be nice if Consular and Mystic remained the "Force-heavy" careers.

Seeker also has a double force rating spec in Hermit.

Oh, I meant a career that actually get's 2 double Force specs. I mean 1 is fine, but 2 would be neat to keep Consular and Mystic the more "Focus-focused" careers.

yeah, the hermit gets double, and it's probably the most expensive double force rating double to take. have to go all the way to the bottom and then go back up to get one of them

All depends if the Dapperest of Dogs allows the splatbooks for Nar Shaddaa. He didn't allow them here and 2 (well 3 as the Consular book won't be out for 3-4 months) careers won't have a book so it's hardly fair.

There are some things in those books that are universal and not tied to careers though, like new force powers, generic specs, and equipment.

Where's the announcement/info on the new upcoming book?

I should look up these books one of these days to know what you guys are talking about.

Oh so happy to finally have a complete set for Edge. It's arrival will cue a new campaign around my Sunday tabletop. The 700xp Rebel group can be retired and I'll no longer have nightmares about the Soldier's repeating blaster talent combos that he can practically kill a tank with.
