The Dark Academy on Korriban

Zeno does the math in his head.

"Lord Zash never mentioned the apprentices name... Oh well. So this is a holocron?" He glances over it for a moment to see if there was some sort of button to operate it, though he expected to find none with the power of the dark side being present within it.

"Let's see this thing in action then... if I can." He takes a seat where the previous corpse had been in the same position and places the holocron where it had been before he picked it up. "I'm guessing I need to touch it with the force to activate it."

“That is the usual way,” Spindral replied before he bent down to look at something in the dirt.

OOC: Force die roll to activate.

He closes his eyes and reaches out to the holocron, sensing it's presence and trying to touch it with a string of force energy that he collects in his being.

Force: 1 Dark Side point

“These are… bzzzt –wo- of bzzzt Gyn bzzt,” a holographic image forms of what appears a Sith, but the image is unstable and the holocron seems damaged.

“I am… bzzzt appre- bzzzt of… of… of…” it freezes and repeats that last word.

"Of course it's malfunctioning..." the aspirant says with a shake of his head.

"You're breaking up... how do I fix you?" He tries to focus harder to see if he can hear through the static.

The holocron offered no wisdom but Spindral grinned baring blackened teeth and said, “Lord Zash may know… or maybe Lord Savas if he is still alive.”

"Yes... I believe Lord Zash would be pleased to gain this. She had mentioned it previously when we spoke. But you know of her? Have you two met previously?" Zeno asks the man as he takes the holocron up and puts it away, moving to his feat in the process.

“Many Sith have found me in the wastes, when she first came here to explore she found me. We spoke and shared knowledge. Her thirst is insatiable, perhaps it is her greatest weakness,” he said with a distant look in his eyes.

“Time does not matter much to me, I endure.”

"I see. Well, she is here for the time being so maybe you will cross paths again."

Zeno then goes about inspecting the cave for anything he may have missed.

OOC: Perception roll at Hard difficulty or Lore roll at Hard difficulty but with a boost die due to Spindral.

Not fumbling around like he had previously, the sith-blooded aspirant was far more focused now. Not perfectly focused, but definitely not blind.

Lore: 2 succeses, 2 threat

The interior had aartwork depicting scenes from a life of whoever was entombed here and with Spindral’s aid he is able to determine that this was the tomb of a Sith named Gyn Hothe, the pictures show he killed his master and then sealed his secrets within the holocron.

"Gyn Hothe, eh?" The aspirant pulls out his datapad and goes about recording the depictions. "I guess I have a name for the apprentice now."

When he finishes he tucks the datapad back into his belt. "I think I need to try and find a patrol soon, get to the academy. Dont want to have gained this experience and not put it to good use."
