The glass he was drinking from flying from his hand is a bit of a surprise, as is the odd feeling in the force throughout that entire conversation.

I see the girl is just as...sane...as always...

Glimpsing down at the pool of liquor spilled from his glass, he sighs and says, mostly to himself, "Oh well. Probably shouldn't have been drinking anyway."

Something was wrong, something was very wrong, she felt the slight disturbance even before anything happened. All culminating in the tremor they felt as glasses were sent flying, even hers as it just arrived. Now that was a shame indeed. Kristal watched as the slave turned Sith walked away, the manner-less dog as she was acting to be.

Regardless of the truth, Kristal was assured of one thing. Whether it was directly or indirectly surrounding her, this girl was a threat.

Always cool, calm, and collected though Kristal remained as she was. Looking straight to Layne's back as she left, simply stating, "That one bears watching."

Khalim stands up from his seat and walks over to the bar, perhaps to fetch a new drink if any other glassware can be found.

Hearing Kristal's words, he nods agreeably. "That is quite correct."

He pauses contemplatively, "I've received some teaching in the force, and in moving objects. To move so many simultaneously, and with such violence, one would need to be either very strong in the Force, or very well trained. I doubt she is very well trained, for obvious reasons."

Xevine instinctively moved her hand to her sword, but didn't draw it. Looking at the broken glass in front of her, she frowned, and slowly released her grip. Looking up to the others, than back at Layne. "What do we know of her?" It seems, so far, she was part of a group, at least.

Shaisha didn't want to voice her concerns out loud. That it could possibly be that this former slave had more raw talent than her with the Force. It just couldn't be...

She stood up from her seat and headed to the bar as well. "I need a new drink." Her words seemed annoyed, but she felt enraged.

The staff were scrambling to clean things up and a droid started going around handing out new drinks. The other clientele, mostly soldiers and a few students were equally shocked by the outburst.

Then the Overseer entered, she had sensed the outburst and little she know she would have a personal run-in later with the subject of discussion.

"What the blazes is happening here, one of you speak now," she demanded with a glare sweeping over the students.

He replies to the Overseer, "A rather impolite slave had an outburst."

"That she is more beast than man, perhaps," Kristal offered to the group before glancing over toward the bartenders. They would very well know what she desired once she caught an eye.

That was when the Overseer entered, asking for an explanation. One Kristal would more or less give. If she had the time to, but as Khalim offered words already... well, she did only ask for one of them to speak. No need to add different words with the same meaning to the pot.

“Where is this slave now, why did you not kill it and be done with this?” she said with barely contained rage.

Then she put the pieces of the puzzle together, her rage growing, “A slave has access to the Force? One of the aspirants, bloody hell; their name NOW.”

He thinks back for a moment, to their meeting on the ship that brought them all here.

"Layne, I believe, was her name. A bit hard to make out, admittedly, between all the animalistic growls and snarling."

“Useless priss,” she said dismissively to Khalim but committed the name to memory. Being overseer was a crap job and already she had to actually do work. She glared at the students, useless sacks of meat.

“Anyone else have anything to add, speak now.”

"The name is correct," Shaisha added. She had nothing more to say. Apart from maybe cursing rules that had prevented her and the others to take care of that upstart slave then and there.

"You are dealing with more of a beast than a person in that one," Kristal commented simply, for now.

“Spoken like a true fool,” she hissed.

“I did not ask for your idiot opinion,” she said with a glare.

“A slave got the better of you lot, pathetic. Why did you even leave the wastes better for the Sith for you all to have died there. Anyone have anything useful to add?”

"It would be wise to listen to the assessment of those that are familiar with the events," she stated turning herself with broad shoulders to face Rona.

"There was a slight disturbance in the Force that preceded the event, make of it what you will Overseer."

Kristal could have kept quiet, but in thought she came to the determination that informing the Overseer of that she might very well make trouble for the Slave girl. Or perhaps not. Truly, the chance of the former was far more agreeable to her but the latter wasn't a terrible loss.

“Are you challenging me?” her eyes glimmered with rage, “You dare to tell me, a Sith, how to do my business?

She backhands the upstart aspirant across the face. The soldiers inside stand at the ready to support the Overseer in her discipline.

“Know your place, aspirant,” she hissed.

Information, that was, not exactly the getting hit part.

Kristal remained unchanged, though her face had shifted to the side from the hit as well as the clear marking the Overseer left there the young Aspirant didn't let herself seem weak. With a second's pause before, she turned herself back to facing the Overseer.

"Understood, Overseer," she said with a cool heat. Properly subservient to the position Rona held. However she maintained herself well, she had to in front of so many Imperials and others watched. Kristal was an unbreakable wall, even when faced with the might of a Sith. Perhaps that would earn her some recognition among those that weren't Rona.

Leaving her likely bruise unattended for now, looking to soothe it would ruin her image.

There is a long moment as Rona glared at Kristal the reaction was not expected which only made Rona angrier she contemplated cutting down the girl but she just scowled and gestured for her to move aside.

“Just carry on, the lot of you, useless prisses,” she said before turning on her heels. She needed a drink but not here.

The Imperials present stay standing before slowly sitting, many impressed with the bearing and poise of the aspirant.

OOC: Due to Triumph and roleplay, Kristal will gain 1 Reputation.

Xevine once again stood back and observed the interactions. The Overseer was.... well, she wanted results. That was apparent. "She was asking about a Sith Lord Oshin." She offered simply, curious what will the reaction be.

She raised a hand as she left acknowledging the aspirant but done with dealing with these students.

Shaisha leaned against the bar, giving a slow clap for Kristal. That overseer can go lick a Hutt's backside. As if we'd kill another student in full public view!

"Let me buy you a new drink, Kris."

"I got 'em tonight Shai." Sylvain offered. "I already owe Kris from this morning."

As soon as Rona was passed there was a small, Kristal smirk that snuck onto her expression. Only really noticeable to those immediately in her vicinity given her nature. Still, it was enough to move her cheek enough to remind her that she had just been hit with force.

Only when the Sith was gone, and the crowd began to settle, did Kristal move from where she had made her move. Turning toward the bar she joined at Shaisha's side, leaning against it, blocking people to the right out with Shaisha and people to the left with Sylvain.

Moving her jaw a bit to spread and settle the stinging sensation on her skin. "You have my thanks," she offers in reply for the offers of drinks. Not caring for who would pay or if either would, just the thought and words alone deserved the recognition.

After getting her drink for her Sylvain shook his head, "All that energy from just that girl?"

He puts his elbow up on the bar, "Must have an acute connection to the force even she isn't aware of... Or she's playing dumb."
