The Dark Academy on Korriban

With some music in the background, Baesal was busy exploring the academy's database or at least the part students were 'supposed' to look at.

Heh, nothing fancy but that'll patch what I should know and don't

Zeno stands outside the Torguta's room and knocks then waits patiently for a response.

Baesal raises an eyebrow at the knock

''Who is it?''

"Zeno Deathwright. I was wondering if you would be interested in helping with something."

Baesal turned away from her terminal

''Please enter then...''

Zeno opens the door and enters, closing it behind him. "How is your evening going Baesal?" He moves to a central area in the room ajnd stands.

Baesal gave her gest a smile

''Not too bad, I'm catching up on some studies

She leaned forward, curious

''And what about you? Why is my favorite sith coming to visit me in my room?

Zeno raises an eyebrow, "Your favorite? I had no idea I made such an impression."

He looks at her for a moment before continuing. "I ended up taking the scenic route on the way to the academy this morning. Ran into a few droids in an old cavern. I had to destroy them but I recovered their memory cores and some other stuff. They're a bit damaged and I was hoping you might be interested in helping me and Gerald recover the data on them. They used to belong to a very old sith lord and there is potential for them to have useful information... perhaps even coordinates for other locations they guarded on Korriban."

''Ooooh''

Baesal's eyes sparked with interest

''That certainly is within my grasp...Do you have them with you?''

"I have them in my room. Me and Gerald were going to meet to work on them tomorrow after orientation. I'd be glad for additional expertise. I'll also be trying to meet with Lord Zash later to dicuss something related. Apparently the cavern I found was related to a story she told me during the flight here. There may be more to it and i hope I might be able to work with Lord Zash during my time here."

''Hun-hun''

Zyn tapped a finger on her desk, searching her thoughts

''I am likely to be very busy tomorrow but I'll check if I can find some room for that.''

She narrowed her eyes

''Why were those droids there?''

"They were very old, so I imagine to protect the cavern long ago. Though the three of them were not really a match for me," he says with a shrug. "And I don't really have the time this evening. I have yet to eat and shower before going to the museum later where I hope to meet with Lord Zash. I lost a great deal of time today with my detour."

''And what makes you think that this cavern is related to Lord Zash's story?''

She raised an eyebrow

''What exactly is this story?''

"She told me about Lord Hazzan, an old sith master from long ago, and his apprentice who killed him. The murals on the wall depicted that and named Lord Hazzan and the apprentice Gyn Hothe. In addition, I had a vision of the two while listening to the planet," he replies. "Lord Zash mentioned that she had heard the two had returned to Korriban after traveling to the dark places of the galaxy in search of knowledge."

Makes sense

''Allright. I'll see what I can do once I get to see those memory cores.''

She gave a yawn, stretching her arms.

''But like I said, I'll be busy. Furthermore if I do it I expect the eventual return of the favor, at the very least, and if this goes further then those memory cores then I call dibs on what might be found that does not interest Lord Zash.''

Scratching the base of he neck she continued

''But given my spheres of interest that should not pose problem to her, you or that Gerald fellow''

"If you call dibs that's the returned favor," he replies. "Or we can hash out who gets what if something is found and then I'll owe you a favor. That only seems fair considering the fact that Gerald is already an expert on droid maintenance and I'm bringing you the opportunity to take part. Either is your choice but I'm not giving up anything gained based on my find and becoming indebted for it."

Baesal grinned and chuckled

''Mmmh, allright. The second option seems the most preferable.''

We'll see how I'll manage this

''When tomorrow will you delve into these droid's brains?''

"Sometime after the orientation. I have yet to speak with Lord Zash to see if she wishes to be involved, but after I speak with here I'll probably have more specifics." Zeno seems fine with her choice, as it certainly was preferable for her. Potentially get stuff and have someone owe her a favor.

''Very well, inform me as soon as you can. My agenda is going to look like a nightmare''

She gave out a small sigh at that

"Planning something? I'll likely try to head out into the wastes tomorrow if there is time between orientation and dealing with the memory cores," the sith-blood says. "There is much to learn on Korriban and I'll be trying to see what she can teach me."

''I am'' she simply said

''I am not sure if I can tell you more: a girl need to keep her secrets you see'' she said giving him a wink

"Always with the secrets," Zeno says as he takes a few steps towards her. He narrows his eyes as he leans down closer to her. "... mysteriousness suits you."

He grins as he straightens back up. "Try not to let it become obscurity though. It would be a shame for you to end up forgotten or unnoticed."

She raised an eyebrow at that

Moyr must be rubbing on me a little too much

''Don't worry Zeno, if I need to go it will be with a bang!''

"Good to hear. Just try not to destroy anything of value when you do so," he replies with a smirk. "Like myself. That would be poor form."

She looked disapointed for a second

''Well now, you make it sound like violent dismemberment is not your thing...''
