The Dark Academy on Korriban

"It's an edge case. Violent dismemberment of me is not my thing. In all other circumstances it's one of my favorite things," he replies with a pearly white, toothy smile. "Perhaps you'll get the chance to see me do so if you find yourself in need of that kind of favor. I've gotten to do so to 3 droids and some creature in the desert today. I hope tomorrow is as fulfilling."

She laid back on her chair

''Aside from your escapade, how do you find Korriban?''

"Oh, the droids are done. Beyond repair. But I know a thing or two about them in case I need to try and fix an astromech droid so I just pulled the cores," he says with a shrug.

"As for Korriban. She's like a beautiful bitch. She offers you the world and takes what she wants. My kind of lady. Fiery, violent and plenty of secrets she's willing to share with those that know how to please her."

She raised an eyebrow at that

Darn, I hope I can get some scrap at least

"I look forward to spending time in the wastes. Testing myself and seeing what I can find. And I'm sure that Korriban will try to kill me the whole time. I expect nothing less." The sith-blood seems happy with the prospect of the challenge.

"The most difficult part will likely be finding a crystal. So many students have come and gone through the years that it may be hard to find one."

''Finding a crystal? I would prefer being able make one myself.'' she replied

"That's a bit beyond me. I'm not even certain how one would go about doing that. I know that it is done, but know nothing of the process," he admits. "Is that something you've studied?"

''Amongst other thing. I don't claim mastery but the process is greatly alluring.''

She turned to type something on her computer

''I will try to clear up the earliest par of my evening tomorrow, would that be convenient?''

"That will probably be fine," he replies. "Assuming nothing comes up. Not that I expect anything to but who knows what the instructors will throw at us during our stay."

"A mixture of pain, sweat and bruises I'd wager..."

She gave a shrug

"But I still will make the most of my free time...There must never truly exist idleness here."

"I agree. But part of it is networking, though I hate to admit it. Politics is a pain but for that I must take a cue from my mother rather than my father. She was always the more diplomatic minded of the pair. We are all rivals here, but there will not only be one person graduating and it seems a poorer idea to burn bridges than build them," Zeno says. "Working with other students will provide foundations for working with other sith in the future. And so sometimes just sitting and having a discussion is not as much a waste of time as it appears."

She let out a sigh but this one seemed good natures

"Can't argue with that Mr. Deathwright. The trick is finding the trustworthy ones...a hard thing here."

"You know how to find trust? Find people who truly understand camaraderie," he replies, moving to a wall to lean against it. "If any Deathwright needed a wingman and I was there, I'd be at his side, ready to die to cover his ass, and I know the same would be true of any of the other pilots in my family. There's a few of my classmates from pilot training, people whose teeth I'd like to kick in, that I'd fly into war with any day. You look for someone that understands that mindset and you earn it from them."

She grinned

"Will do, Sir!" She did a military salute towards the half-blood

"I admit that I enjoy teamwork: a hunt party always brings more food then the lone hunter. How is your networking going?"

"Slow, but I missed out on most of today due to getting lost. I had a few conversations on the ship with hopeful collaborators, but have yet to see where that goes. We have our orientation tomorrow, then the memory core work, and I hope to head out into the wastes for a bit, too. I'll probably spend the later evening trying to get to know some other students if I can. But I'm hoping that our collaboration will bring us closer together as well. Perhaps long term if things work out. A good pilot, a good mechanic, and trust are what one needs for a skilled crew. Everyone else on the ship is just there for the mission."

She nods in agreement.

"That is something I hope so as well."

She stroke her lekku gently

"I'll have to present you to a friend."

He looks to the stroking for a moment but then meets her eyes once more. "I'll look forward to that. I'm certain I'll get on well with anyone that you call friend. It's good that you've found someone you can call friend already. That can be difficult in a place like this. Especially with some people's attitudes towards non-sith and non-humans. Too many fail to realize that no matter one's origin, they are here at this academy because they were chosen by the dark side."
