Yeah being critically hit is bad news as it makes each critical hit afterwards more dangerous until you die.

Criticals, in fact, are the ONLY way to die in this system.

Of course, being on Alderaan when the Death Star shows up counts as an infinite string of criticals, eventually bringing your roll over the 150 by default, so yeah.

Same with falling off a cliff.

My philosophy on events and such is flexibility, I tried in many of them to allow a variety of approaches to do a thing. Like in the Sneaking rules I offer options and the players choose the approach. I hope this will allow players to better approach the game and events from their individual perspectives.

Now this isn’t every roll, but I did try to allow alternate paths to allow greater variety.
