You can use the tea kettle to heat water for ramen and oatmeal.

A consequence of having moved cross country three years ago with no furniture or heavy/bulky furnishings is having had to buy all that here in the far end.

A fact I have had to remedy most recently to my pocketbook's detriment. Also one my my glass cups got wedged into a particularly large beer mug I had and to save the mug I had to sacrifice the glass.

Did you drill a hole in the bottom of the cup, then fill the hole in with some sort of sealant?

Nah. The cup was nested inside the mug and a lip on the inside of the mug was keeping me from getting the cup out.

Attempts to manually loosen the cup from in there resulted in chips of glass breaking off the mouth of the cup already so I said screw this and used a hammer and metal punch to break enough of the cup to get it out of there.

A shame, really. I liked both pieces of glassware, but one had to go and I chose the one that I had already messed up.

The vast majority of my glassware consists of pint glasses obtained at free pint glass nights at local pubs.

Go in, have a beer from the brewery of the month, get a pint glass with their logo.

Of course, it also means my cupboard looks like an alcoholic's.

Kettles are preferable but you can also just boil water in a pot or microwave.

There is just something so satisfying about Force Powers and lightsabers.

I regained my another setback dice. Because setback is so good for story, right? All the adversity coming down your way, it surely makes for wonderful role-playing experience. Somehow.

I had planned Grenda's tale to be one of a fight for respectability . . . Orokos has obviously decided that was boring and prefers to build her to a proper height to fall from.

Just from a much higher level than I expected.

I must say we are in a strange position for the game system. Usually that 4 advantage Mohr got could be used to add Boost dice to the next allied person to act (for 1 adv), add a Boost dice to her own next action (for 2 adv) and heal one Strain for her.

Here we're rolling solo so there is no bonus of carrying the dice over. It will all work perfectly when we have a team based combat.

Technically, you can use 2 advantages to give YOURSELF a boost die on your next roll. So you could use two to get a blue die on your next test roll.

I had no idea this was a thing.
