The Dark Academy on Korriban

"You make a good point there acolyte Hoshin." Remmington says with a chuckle.

"Well if you have any questions feel free to ask. I suggest you get some rest and have a droid check up on you in the morning if you feel under the weather."

Then as if remembering something. "Oh! Don't forget to get some studying in. Since you are new this whole Sith thing you may want to get ready for the exams tomorrow."

She just shrugged. Looking like she was willing to take advice would be terrible for her reputation, after all.

"Don't need to study if you've got what it takes"

"Well if you are that confident we'll see how everyone does tomorrow." Remmington remarks.

"Whatever," she said in typical Layne fashion. "Sink or swim."

"How are you finding the Academy by the way? Sadly the food is one of the least things to look forward to."

"It's shit," she blurted out. "But I'm used to shit, and this is less shit than I'm usually dealing with."

"So... does that make this better or worse than before?" Remmington asks to clarify.

"Different," she stated. "Less immediately shit."

Remmington nods. "Do you have any family?"

She narrowed her eyes slightly.

"None that are alive."

Remmington nods. "That is a shame. Well if you need anything else be sure to let me know."

He stifles a yawn. "I should probably get some sleep before the exams tomorrow."

"Sure. I'll do that," she said. "I might even decide to return the favor some time."

A pause.

"Probably not, though."

"I'll look forward to that." Remmington says with a smile.

"Goodnight acolyte Hoshin. I'll see you tomorrow at the exams at the very least."

He waves off as he takes his leave.
