The Dark Academy on Korriban

"I am no Slave," Kristal stated clearly. Offering this Force manifestation nothing more than enough to buy her a moments time. Knowing well enough with the attention now placed on her that the conversation wouldn't be a private one even if it was quiet.

"How can it be done?" she asked Spindral without looking away from the possessed Sylvain.

Spindral chuckled and said, “Well there are a number of ways to do it, subdue her and I can demonstrate. Or should I say him?

With a plan in mind, Kristal stepped forward. Looking to Sylvain. There was another idea she thought to try before resorting to trusting the old man.

From a stance of power, broad shoulders she gave her words the weight of a command. Kristal narrowed her gaze on him, through him, in an attempt to not feel as if she was speaking to Sylvain. It helped her a bit at least.

"Spirit, I demand you release him at once."

Sylvain laughed and then said, “You think I fear you? I am the first among my lord’s slave-wives. I took the head of Prince Ghar’thri, and helped crushed the Western tribes. I once shared the bed of Lord Oshin. I have seen worlds burn, you are barely a woman.”

"No, I do not, I just needed a moment," she admitted to the spirit. Then, with a sigh, she spoke directly to Sylvain. "If you are there, know I am sorry for this."

With barely a seconds pause, aimed right in the moment of confusion perhaps, Kristal made a move to strike aiming to knock poor Sylvain unconscious. Kristal wasn't exactly a brute, but the thought that if he was unconscious the Force Spirit couldn't control him had crossed her mind earlier.

OOC: Brawl roll but she has Adversary 1 so the difficulty is 1 Challenge and 1 Difficulty die with 1 Melee defense, so a setback die. Success means you knock him/her out.

Springing almost immediately from her words there was a quick jab to poor Sylvain, aimed to not scuff up his pretty face too badly but still get the job done. It worked, it worked well, but trying not to hurt him too badly she may have very well hurt her hand a bit in the act.

Sylvain collapsed at the blow and for a moment through the force there is a screech and a howl. Where he stood is the hazy outline of a female sith, a tall one well over six feet and much more feral looking than Shaisha.

Spindral rose to his feet and glared and said, “Begone spirit, your time here has ended!” The room fills with the dark energy and the spirit is cries in agony as he wills it back into the deep from whence it came.

He sat coughed and then said, “Listening to Korriban is not for the weak. He was not ready, I have released her but she is now bound to him. His dreams will be interesting from now on.”

OOC: Sprindral converts the Dark into successes.

"Barely a woman, but got the better of you," she said, prideful amusement staining her tone.

With the spirit gone she knelt down beside the unconscious Sylvain. Looking to the damage she'd done with expressionless features. Concern however dotted in her eyes. There was some concern she had held about relying on the abilities of the old man, or simply relying on him at all. There was no reason for her to trust him with the exception that she saw no other way, she needed to act.

Still.. "Would there have been a better way?"

Kristal often acted on her own first, just as the others did, but still she always concerned herself with their thoughts. Even if she tried to never show it so directly. Casting a quick glance to Shaisha before looking to Spindral.

"He'll live," Shaisha was still a bit angry that Syl had let himself be possessed by such a rude ghost. Kristal's punch was more than deserved.

Spindral watched the young Sith to be and said, “Now you see that the Dark Side is no toy and only the strong deserve such power. Become too weak and you will become a slave to it’s power.”

Kristal couldn't help but find the amusement in Shaisha's response, even if she had guessed it might have been along those lines. Still, that Sylvain would be tormented by this spirit from now on... she just hoped it would cease to be a problem if he left Korriban. There was no way to tell since she no longer cared for Spindral's council on that matter.

Looking back to Sylvain Kristal's expression was neutral, "Idiot," she said with a sigh.

Kristal rose to her feet and moved before Spindral. Speaking with that confidence of self she was allowed to hold by both her ability as a warrior and that she was an Imperial, "You have earned my thanks, but know I still do not trust you."

He gave her a black tooth grin and said, “Good, trust is for children when they cling to their mother’s skirts. You are Sith and Sith do not trust. If you feel you are stronger then kill me, I welcome it.”

“Soup?”

Sylvain started to stir as his eyes flitted open and closed. He put his hand up to his face where this pain seemed to be refusing to let him sleep.

"I have no intention of it, as confident in my ability as I am. Senseless killing is for the weak," she offered with a toned down bravado. Kristal was good, she knew she was, but she also knew that her chances of killing him were slim given his show of his power over the Force. That her ideologies matched up with these facts merely made it easier.

Kristal sat, looking to Spindral, "Will it turn my teeth as black as yours?"

He laughed at that and said, “No… I live off the land and I care little for such things. It will fill your stomach and keep you strong. The Dark Side sustains us, but food still keeps us alive.”

“Your man is waking up.” He looked at Sylvain and said, “You were lucky boy, Korriban is rarely so merciful.”

Sylvain sits up with a disoriented look on his face, "Where am I? I saw... troops, and two women who hated me..."

Touching his face he winced, "Why does my face hurt?"

Kristal had opened her hand to accepting the soup, as she figured, if he wanted to kill her there were far easier ways to do it by poison or the slow rotting of her teeth.

Spindral's choice of words didn't incite a reaction from Kristal, just a curiosity. Without even turning to look back, knowing he was speaking was enough to know he was all right, amused she said, "That was for Shaisha."

Spindral handed her the soup.

"For Shaisha? What'd I do attack her?" He asked dazed.

With the soup in hand, she made her appraisal of it. Though she had no expectation for it to be at all appetizing to a normal palette, she was rather fond of anything that wasn't that muck from the mess hall. Even if she played the part of a good soldier and never complained about food.

"Something used you to make some rather rude remarks," she said with that tone of amusement hinting it's way into a select few syllables.

Sylvain looked up to Shaisha, "Wha? Well... sorry."

"My face must be red in more ways than one."

"Next time," she spoke as she accepted the soup, "I won't be so nice as to just let Kristal punch your face."

Holding the soup that Spindral handed her, still examining it, Kristal held out her other hand a little. Showing off the fist she used to hit Sylvain, but in truth it was mostly just so she could flex it out a bit. Still stung a bit from the hit after all.

"Let there not be a next time," Kristal added.

Not really having much of an idea what was going on Sylvain just nodded his head in agreement.
