He chuckled, "Not if you mistreat your puppy. He's got a pretty consistent flighty streak about him."

Then standing a bit taller and in a regal fashion, "I'm pretty confident I'd make it more fulfilling than you seem to think. Pretty face and pretty words can be a mask for weakness, or an obfuscation of strength. I'm confident you'd find the latter to be more true than the former."

He smiled, "There's only one way to find out."

"Oh, a flighty streak? Not the best regarded attitude for a Sith, no?" She smiled. "Well, there is only one way, that much is true... but do I think it's worth it?"

"You'll have to tell me." He said with a charming smile.

"I think it's worth a try. But I'm the adventurous type. Are you?"

Xevine looked him up and down. "Adventurous, yes. Worthy... not sure. Let's see how you do today, and then we can talk? If we're going to succeed, we'll need to be sure to not waste our time, no?" she leaned in closer, and touched his arm briefly, her eyes aflame, before she chuckled.

He smiled at the touch and matched her gaze, "No wasting of time is necessary."

He smiled and looked back at the wares, "Finding anything else that catches your fancy?"

"Nothing yet. I'd like something more padded... and preferably stylish." She indicated towards a dirt-colored poncho. "Not that one, for example."

"It's a shame you didn't bring some with you." He said with a smile and tapping his padded clothing, "Some of us came prepared, dear Aspirant."

He smiled as he teased her by turning her words around on her.

"Xevine sounds so much better than 'Aspirant'. Fierce and feminine. Do you mind if I call you Xevine when not in a formal setting?"

Xev's eyes narrowed. "You sure you want to do that?" She gestured with her head, her hair coming loose, a sword visible. "Well, I am sure your warm clothes will help you while you're being gnawed upon by worms."

He chuckled and smiled, "I'll take that as a 'no' for now. Pity really, with your looks and that name you could wield a whole other kind of power if you so desired."

He bowed politely, "Either way, you can call me Syl if you'd like; I like it better. Aspirant Torsin works as well of course."

"Syl? Well met. Call me Xevine. Not Xev." There was an emphasis there. "Oh? With this name? What do you mean by that?" Her tone was curious.

He smiled, "Like I said, I think it's a beautiful name. Feminine and alluring, but fierce. It fits you perfectly."

"Ah, you're terrible. Does that line work everytime?" Xevine managed to hold her cool though. Her name was one that was passed down in her family, nothing special...

Sylvain shrugged, "First time I've used this 'line'. As much as it may seem like a line, it isn't. You really do have a perfectly fitting name."

Xevine smiled. "Thank you." She was taken aback a little... it wasn't a compliment she heard often. "Have you visited the planet outside of the Academy by any chance?"

He nodded, "I've traveled quite a bit in the wastes around the Academy. Never out too far into the wastes yet though... though it's definitely on my list."

Then tilted his head to ask, "Anything you'd like to know?"
