I guess we all just trained at some smaller academies or with a master who is no longer around? Or a relative?

You could have been at the Academy before, it is typical that Sith train elsewhere either with a Master, or a smaller training center more local to them and then on to Korriban. Some come straight to Korriban but many start off world, some never even go especially if their master wants them directly as an apprentice.

Korriban is recognized as a good place to send promising students or if you can't be bother to train, it can also be a death sentence for the unprepared. Private forums will probably be this evening or tonight. But I think I cleared my queue out.
