The Dark Academy on Korriban

These tombs were foreign to the Sith witch, but she was a creature raised in the darkness. Everyday in the temples and tombs of House Farro she felt the malevolance of the Dark Side. She had been taught to welcome it. To draw it into herself, even, sometimes to her detriment, for one could not stand against the Dark Side, merely endure it in terrible ecstasy.

Nunki was behind Jun-Tsu a ways back, but when she caught up, the darkness shook Nunki to her very core. She stayed stone-faced and pushed through it, examining the door closely.

"It seems to be overflowing in this area in general. My senses aren't as refined as yours Jun-Tsu." Remmington replies as he follows her along towards a temple.

Upon arrival at the door the darkness instilled fear within Remmington. He seemed neither fearful nor courageous in the face of it.

If possible will use advantage to give boost to Jun-Tsu.

A shadow washes over them and then they hear a voice speaking to them, “This place is mine! You are not worthy of my secrets!”

The air is filled with hot rage and anguish.

OOC: Remmington suffers 1 Setback die due to fear, Nunki takes 2 strain from the dark side apparition.

A broad smile took Jun-Tsu's features with wide, silver eyes. She let the darkness wash over her and didn't bother casting about. Spirits were something she was familiar with. Admittedly many of them were ancient Farro, but just because they were family did not make the ghosts of the past any less belligerent.

"Test us! Test us und zee our vorth. Ve are of zhe ancient blood. Ve are of House Farro und House Balmung, wersed in zhe old vays as only one of lineage can be!. Speak your name spirit und ve vill know one another."

Remmington backs up Jun-Tsu. "Whether or not we are worthy, it is within the Force to decide."

Nunki remains silent behind the two.

“Old names that have fallen, why should I deign to speak to those from bloodlines of weakness?” the spirit hissed from no particular place.

"You speak of names and yet have not given your own." Remmington counters.

"Plus I have never relied upon my family's name. What I do shall be in my own."

She looked to Rem as he spoke before muttering.

"Fallen," she practically spit the word under her breath. "You know nothing of House Farro to believe us veak."

She steadied herself, closing her eyes to center her mind and calm her temper. "Ve have been called to zhis place by zhe Dark Side, itz power draws us close und guided us to your tomb. Zpeak vith us or no, but I heed zhe vill of zhe dark-light of Bogan, und at your behest or no, vill find vhy it called me here. I vill fulfill its vill."

Again, Nunki stood silent. This was not her part to play.

“I owe you nothing, you come to Korriban to steal and pillage not honor the greatness of ages gone by,” the voice replied.

"How would we honor the greatness of your age? How would you have us honor the greatness of your age?" Jun-Tsu stared into the darkness with an unflinching curiosity. She even took a step away from her companions.

“Bring me a gift worthy of my greatness,” the voice echoed.

The witch looked back to her companions wondering about their opinions on the matter. For her part it seemed a reasonable request, and, no doubt, they could better understand this place and its patron delving into the records at the Academy.

Remmington considers that for a moment. "They probably want some sort of Sith artifact or perhaps a weapon of a fallen enemy or something like that." He looks towards the ghost for their reaction.

"Of course I suppose forcing our way in is another option since we don't know who this ghost is. What are your thoughts Jun-Tsu?" Remmington says quietly to mainly Jun-Tsu.

"It may be best to zeek knowledge before entering. As much as I detest hawing zhis trip be for nothing, ignorance leads to death." She turned back to the spirit. "Ve vill return vith your offering."

There was a threatening promise to her tone.

Nunki finally chimes in.

"Yes, trying to get past the ghost with only one armed aspirant is not a smart plan..."

Remmington nods. "Alright, let's find out more then before we come back."

He offers a bow towards the voice. "We shall return then."

As they go to their speeders he looks over to Jun-Tsu. "Can I leave figuring out how to deal with that ghost to you Jun-Tsu?" He asks.

"I can see vhat might be found at zhe academy. Perhaps zhis vill give me a reason to speak with lord Sawas [Savas]. I have sought a reason since hearing of his position here."

Remmington nods. "Very well. I will see what else I can find. You can always call or leave a message for me in my room if you find anything."

"I'll keep you informed of anything I find on this," she looked between the two, "both of you."

Remmington nods. "Alright, shall we head back for now? Or do you want to do some more scouting around?"

"It may be worthwhile to spend time looking around, however, we should head back soon." She says, walking behind Jun-Tsu.
