The Dark Academy on Korriban

Remmington quickly hacks into the Academy's database and extracts what hidden information/maps that he can while the droid is busy. He quietly sends the information to the computer terminal in his room and then shuts down the terminal he is at when he is done.

He lets out a sigh as he stands up and stretches a little. "It sounds like you have had quite the adventure. So far nothing really as interesting as that has happened to me. I did find a temple earlier though."

He nods. "It sounds like Lord Zash is quite the academic as they say."

Computer Hacking = 2 successes, 3 threat

"Finding a temple sounds like it could be an adventure in itself." The sith-blood looks at Remmington, apparently curious about it.

"As can be expected it was overflowing with the power of the dark side. Easily dwarfing what we experienced during the exam." Remmington comments though he doesn't sound like he wishes to elaborate more on that.

"Well, maybe you can share the story some other time." Zeno shrugs at that. "Where are you from?"

"I hail from Sikurd. What of yourself Acolyte Deathwright? You appear to be human but have a strong tie to the True Sith as well?" Remmington asks.

"Perhaps we can share our stories another time." He agrees with a nod and glances over at Khalim before looking back to Zeno.

"I'm from Dromund Kaas. Kaas City originally. The House of Deathwright's main holding is there. But I've basically lived on ships and stations since I was 12, so the void feels more like home to me," he replies.

Remmington nods. "I have travelled through Imperial space. Dromund Kaas is quite the planet. Been to Korriban a few times before as well. Have you been here before?"

"I haven't, this is my first time. My training before this was primarily pilot training in the Deathwright tradition, with a tutor that taught me lightsaber combat and how to use the force," he replies. "And that was primarily on space stations. Even the atmospheric training tended to be launched from stations and return there."

"Ah you are a pilot then? In that case I may have to ask you for some advice and training methods. I am thinking of becoming a pilot as well." Remmington replies enthusiastically.

"I am. I was trained by my family and we have been producing the finest pilots in the Empire for nearly a millennium. Our house was granted based on the exploits of our founder," he says with a nod. "The most brutal pilot training in the empire. Death rate similar to that of the academy here. And that's the only way you wash out... death. I could show you a thing or two."

Remmington nods. "I will greatly appreciate that acolyte Deathwright." He smiles. "I think we can learn quite a bit from one another."

"We can go over it when we have a bit of time available. Though I'm not sure how much of that we'll have," he says with a nod.

Remmington nods. "I suspect that we will be given some free study time. It seems they are content to leave us to our own devices for the most part here."

"Indeed. Are you more concerned with atmospheric or space piloting? If it's atmospheric I can definitely give you a handle of it with practical experience using the speeders available. Space? Really only theory at this point." A fair point really. Not a whole lot of starfighters running around here.

Remmington thinks about that. "Probably both. Though space piloting I should pick up. If I fall off a speeder it is no where near as bad as crashing into an asteroid or something."

"You do know how fast speeders can go right? There would be no difference in practice if you are even at 50% throttle on a speeder bike. You'd be unrecognizable," he says with a chuckle.

"Maybe but a small crack in a space ship means that your head explodes from decompression without a spacesuit on." Remmington counters.

"That's why you wear a space suit. And Deathwright training teaches one to get over that fear. 48 hours alone in the void with no ships around..."

Remmington nods. "I guess I will need to pick up a spacesuit sometime soon then."

"Well, at least before you head out into space in a starfighter. I don't believe that's a standard part of training though," Zeno says with a shrug.

"Don't pilots wear spacesuit in their starfighters?" Remmington asks. "I have seen pilots walking around their spacesuits even planet side too. They look fairly comfortable."

"They're pretty comfortable, yes. Less so the armored ones and those are more expensive as well. Usually you only see marines in those since they are often expected to fly into enemy lines and land to engage specific targets," he explains. "And I only wore my issue spacesuit during training. I left it back home and decided to wear the more fashionable and tailored black you usually see me walking around in." He grins at that, like he actually cares about fashion.

"Black is pretty popular among the Sith. Well I will rely upon you to help me get up to snuff for piloting then acolyte Deathwright." Remmington smirks back.

"Not a problem," he replies with a nod.

Remmington takes out his CommLink and gives it a shake in the air before Zeno. "Want to exchange Galactic Network IDs?"
