The Dark Academy on Korriban

She knew she should probably head to the infirmary and make sure those tender areas didn't grow worse, but her feelings were still high from the aftermath of the fight.

Walking from her own room, she knocked on the door to one she had a feeling would be understanding in this situation.

"Jo'ren?"

A muffled "Shaisha?" came back at her through the door.

Moments later it opened to reveal Jo'ren in his full Sith armour, although it looked like he had been starting to take it off or was still putting it on. He glanced down the corridor to see if anyone else was there and then back at her. A smile crossed his face, but it faded a little when he saw she was rather beaten up.

"The hell happened? Come in!" He stepped back out of the way and waved her in.

She looked rather surprised at his getup.

"A few filthy slaves happened. They're dead now," she said as she accepted the offer to step in. "If I'd known you'd be dressing up, I would've considered slipping into a slinky black dress myself. Interesting attire."

"Huh?" He blinked at her then realised what she meant.

"Oh, the armour. I only just got back from the space station. Walked in like two minutes ago. I was going to hit the refresher, but now I've got company." He grinned and got back to removing the suit of armour as they spoke, revealing tight sportswear underneath.

"Hey if you want to surprise me with a slinky dress my door's always open. I thought the slave rebellion was over?"

"Hm, not quite. Overseer Thaine commanded me, along with Zeno and Xevine to take out the leader of the revolt and the last group of dissidents." She watched him remove his armor; her golden eyes seemingly more ablaze than before.

"Done successfully. I took down their leader, earned a nice little prize in the process too," her hand slipped to her belt, and revealed a lightsaber. "No idea where a bitch like that got her hands on such a weapon, but I've claimed it now as my rightful trophy."

"Oh, hey, nice work Shaisha. Congratulations!" He was almost finished taking off the armour now. "How did the others do? I don't think I've met Zeno yet, but I know Xevine."

"I guess you might be able to work out who it belonged to if you cared. Each one is distinct, so maybe there are records in the library?" With a last tug the final piece of armour was removed and he began diligently setting out the pieces on the rack he had put together over the weeks since acquiring it.

"You got a bit beat up, but the pay off was worth it. So... Good day for Shaisha?" He reached out with the force to sense her feelings but there was interference from the light side so he let it go.

Day 4. Sense Shaisha's emotions.: 1eF 1 Light Side

"They did well. Would've been hard to kill everyone alone, and they'll both make good Sith." She couldn't help but to take a moment to admire the rather impressive armour Jo'ren had... when she wasn't admiring his own physique.

"A good day," she said with a smile. "Nothing a trip to the infirmary won't fix... but, you know, good company is more interesting now than boring droids. Besides, I saw how effective you were earlier today against those slave rebels." As she spoke, she stepped a bit closer to him.

"Glad to hear it, who knows what else we'll face before graduating." He turned thoughtful at that, reflecting on the face of the person he had just killed rather effortlessly in single combat. It was only a moment, and she was smiling, and coming closer to him.

"Good company am I?" He gave her a sly smile. "Not so bad yourself. Sure you don't want those injuries looked at?" He looked down at her, assessing the level of damage. Not that he was a medic, but he was getting used to seeing the sort of damage that combat led to.

"I was pretty effective today, wasn't I."

"I'll do that later," she chuckled. "I'm here now, after all. And there's more that follows a combat than just bruises and cuts."

The damages didn't seem too bad. Sure, bruises that hinted at something that could be worse, but she wasn't bleeding or having troubles walking or standing.

"You were..." her voice was certainly flattering. "And you seem as confident as always. It's probably what makes you so handsome."

He looked into her eyes. "Heh, I'm a Rath remember? We're all confidence all the time Shaisha. Although I definitely won the good looks lottery, you're right there." He winked at her playfully. "Yes, you are here now aren't you. Have to say I'm glad you decided to come and see me after putting yourself in mortal danger."

He raised a hand slowly to touch her hair. "Guess you must enjoy my witty conversation."

"Hm, is that so? How lucky of me then to meet the good-looking member of the Rath-family then." She lifted her hand to touch his chin. "Your conversation is witty, but I've yet to... test my mettle against yours."

Shaisha leaned closer to him. She still smelled of the rain, the mud, the blood and the sweat.

"Very lucky. Very lucky indeed." He breathed in deeply, it was an intoxicating fragrance. "You know the last person who tested them self against me lost, hard." He was still high on his victory, there was passion and arrogance in his words.

"Have you had enough of talking yet?" With very little effort he reached his massive arms around her and lifted her up to his eye level. "Because I'm good at lots of other things too."

"You can tell me about this person who lost against you, hard." She grinned as he lifted her up. "Ooo... but maybe later. I'm curious about these other talents of yours. If you're a good as you say you are."

"Oh shut up and kiss me, maybe you'll find out." He carried her over to the bed at which point a lot of fading black likely goes on.

She let out a throaty laugh and passionately pressed her lips against his. The ecstasy of combat earlier had heightened her senses, and it had left her wanting for more.

Besides, Jo'ren had been such a flirt since they first met. She wanted to let it all fade to black with him.

Eventually the scene faded back in again.

"Hey, I think you've got some new bruises." He chuckled as they lay on his bed, which pressed then together since it was barely big enough for him on his own.

"I told you passion was the way forward. There's something any near-death experiences that make you want to feel alive.". He clenched one big fist, thinking of his fight earlier. It had been clinical, not the furious contest he was expecting. She had been weak, in the end.

Shaisha didn't mind lying more on top of Jo'ren than beside him, considering she didn't want to get knocked out of the bed right away.

"Mmm... there are such a thing as good bruises," she teased and nipped at the skin on his neck. "It's like you read my mind, but I feel like there's something on your mind?"

"Heh, well I am getting stronger with the Force you know. Let's see: you're thinking I'm being a jerk, but I'm cute so it's okay."

He smiled at her and looked up at the ceiling. When he replied it was more serious. "Yeah. That's a good assessment actually. Some possibilities opened up today, and I took hold of my future with both hands."

"Cute?" she laughed quietly against his skin. "Not the word I'd use... but do go on; you seized your destiny today?"

"Cute. Dashingly handsome. Outrageously sexy.". He shrugged. "Whatever."

Her questioning received a long look before he spoke more seriously again. "Yes. I did. I secured myself an apprenticeship today Shaisha. You'll get to watch me rise."

"Already?" She did seem a bit surprised. "And who's the lucky Lord? Someone I should be jealous of?"

"I don't wait around Shaisha ". He smiled roguishly. "You have to seize the day."

"Who it is though... I'm going to hold onto that for a little while. It's not Zash though, I know you think I'm attracted to her.". He teased her about the conversation they'd had weeks before.

"Keeping secrets, hm?" She could guess, considering she had seen him and Khalim be called over to Darth Vengean at the party, but she let him enjoy the secret for now.

"You certainly seem to be progressing fast. Lightsaber, a future master, and a rather impressive suit of armor. A gift from your master-to-be, perhaps?"

"We all do.". He smiled and looked up at the ceiling.

"Actually no. That was all me. I had an adventure in the Deep Wilds. Came across some info on a downed ship from the Battle of Korriban. Could say the Force led me to it. Previous owner was long dead, now it's mine."

"Heh, sounds like everyone gets all sorts of interesting adventure when going into the Wastes," she grinned at that, "all I find is the old hermit. Guess that's just my luck."

"Pretty impressive suit of armor though, and will probably come in handy when you're unleashed upon our enemies."
