“A pair,” she says with a smile.

“It takes a great of skill to make such a style work, but I am sure you are more than capable of such a challenge. As it stands, that is not my chief concern. The other students we have been working with, do you trust them?”

“I only ask because I value your counsel, Zeno.”

"My trust is not given so freely Lord Zash. I work with people that I know are capable, but outside of my Deathwright comrades who I would die for and who would die for me I've got precious little reason to extend trust to anyone who hasn't demonstrated their trust in me. I get on well with them but they keep things from me, as all the aspirants do with each other," he says with a shrug.

"But my guess is that you're bringing it up because you have a concern about them, or at least my interactions with them."

“Like you I do not trust easily as any Sith should. Trust is a weakness, what do you suspect them to be holding back from you?” she asked with a smile.

"I don't know, but they've been slow to share information. I didn't even know of their efforts to complete a lightsaber until everyone else did. And whenever they do share information with me it is more like they come to an agreement before sharing it," he replies.

"But as long as I can get something from working with them I will. And the two of them don't really have the combat prowess to survive the worst of what Korriban can throw at them."

“Baesal and Gerald are friends?” she asks with curiosity.

"I thought you were speaking of Baesal and Moyr. I've been hanging out with them more frequently and assumed you were aware," he says with a shrug. "Gerald I am more connected to than they," he replies. "Gerald... him you can probably trust. As I think that's in his nature."

“A soft soul, there is always one every few years. I believe I know of this Moyr in passing, what have you been working on? Anything interesting that could aid our work?” she says sweetly.

"Possibly, but we're still trying to figure things out," he says with a grin. "Can't have someone swoop in and save us every time we try and figure things out. We'll never learn that way. But we're all working stuff based on the droid memory cores that we worked on. When something is solidified we'll get that information to you Lord Zash."

“Good, our dig will be in two days. Gerald will be there… I might bring in this youth Remmington as he seems to want to be useful but I know little about him. I would like Baesal there, she seems useful. Zeno, you can decide we if need Moyr or this Remmington for our core team.”

“When will you work on creating this shoto lightsaber?” she finishes.

"I would like to start as soon as possible. We have the dig site visit in the afternoon and who knows what will happen after that," he says. "Honestly, I could probably get started now. I wouldn't want to put you on the spot like that, but I have nothing else to work on until the afternoon."

“I did have a fitting, but I can always reschedule, the creation of one’s first lightsaber hilt is a momentous moment for any aspirant,” she says warmly.

"If you'd like, I can get started and read through any materials while you are at your fitting. Then we can finish it on your return," he says with a smile.

"You could send me a few images of whatever new dress you are trying on so I can tell you how it doesn't do you justice and how fortunate the designer is to have you wearing their work."

“We can work in my private lab, I can easily multi-task, Zeno,” she says with a smile.

“Gather you things, we have a hilt to create.”

"Of course," Zeno replies moving to the table where his datapad sits and grabbing it and a bag.

He then follows Lord Zash to her lab.

Zash sets up a holo call and begins modeling different gowns while she directs Zeno when needed, she provides her extensive knowledge has to do all the heavy lifting.

Zeno begins his work in earnest. He doesn't hide the fact that he occasionally appreciates the view, but he is definitely mostly focused on his work. The guidance and assistance of Lord Zash do a great deal to help him and he finalizes it in only three hours, crafting a very nice shoto hilt that is very efficiently put together.
